1979 silver griffon coin
Today I share the latest edition to the collection, I was inspired to get this coin due to a post by @fat-elvis he shared his 1979 silver proof set that contains this awesome griffon dollar coin. You can check out his post here.
And I encourage you to follow him for lots of other amazing pieces.
I really like the dollar coin but not a huge fan of the whole set but luckily the coin is for sale individually as well, I actually got this coins and a bunch of other old silver Canadian coins from the coinsunlimited website.
It was my first time buying from them and I'm pretty happy with the service my items came pretty quickly and it was a pretty good deal too.
That's all for today's post thanks for stopping by your support is truly appreciated.

I got this coin on the backburner for a while.
There's just not much to the story of the Griffon until the team of university researchers find the remains of this ship.
Unless I write a totally fictional account.
Otherwise, it is a fine coin. It's 0.500 isn't it?
Yeah it's a 0.5 silver I just got it because I thought it looked pretty cool and for under 15 bucks it's a steal
Not bad when you get the original case and COA with it too.
Mine came just with a capsule.
A 300 year commemorative... New France!!!
That's a whole lot of history
I believe that I am already following him, but thanks anyway.
That's a beauty. I remember having silver dollars when I was a kid and when I see these I wonder if I had one. I would have been 7 when this came out.
Silver griffon is nice coin. Designs with yacht on it are so appreciated !
Quite looking so classic and wonderful. I love the display I must confess to you
That's a nice-looking coin you've got there. I wonder how much it cost
Was pretty cheap around 15 bucks Canadian
