Karu Mata Fusion (Dalaguete Cebu)

Good morning everyone. Happy Friday to all, I know everyone is excited about the incoming weekend. In this post, I'm gonna share a place in the Southern part of Cebu where in they serve Korean-Japanese food fusion, the name of the place is Karu Mata Fusion. The Owner of this place is a Japanese native that resided in the Philippines and decided to share their dish and culture here in Dalaguete, Cebu.

The first thing that we ordered is Ramen, Japanese noodles are used in ramen. It comprises wheat noodles prepared in the Chinese style and served in a broth with toppings like scallions, nori (dried seaweed), menma (bamboo shoots), and sliced pork (cash). Noodle dishes from China are where ramen got its start. Ramen is a dish that is unique to almost every region in Japan. Examples include the tonkatsu (pig bone broth) ramen from Kyushu and the miso ramen from Hokkaido.

We also decided to try their food called Bibimbap, Korean rice dish bibimbap is sometimes romanized as bi bim bap or bi bim bop. While the noun "bap" designates rice, the term "bibim" refers to mixing rice (burnt rice at the bottom of the plate and cooked rice). Warm white rice is used to make bibimbap, which is then topped with gochujang (chili pepper paste), soy sauce, or doenjang and namul (sautéed and seasoned veggies) or kimchi (traditionally fermented vegetables) (a fermented soybean paste). Sliced meat, usually beef, and an egg, either raw or fried, are frequent additions. Just before serving, the hot meal is carefully mixed.

The food is so good and you can tell that all the ingredients used are fresh. I recommend this place if I ever you had the chance to visit Dalaguete, Cebu. The prices are also so affordable, all money spent on their food is worth it and the place was also cozy since itit'sust an open place where air flows on it.

I don't know why she looked sad in this photo though, maybe she wanted to try the food that I ordered for myself. LOL

Look at that ramen! 😋 Makes me go crave, I just had bibimbap last night too.

Is it near the highway or along the road? Hope we can drop by next time we go down south.

Wow! Gusto ko yung ramen. Diba sarili nilang gawa yung noodles nila? Mas masarap talaga ang ramen pag sariling noodles ang nakalagay. 😋 nakakamiss tuloy kumain nyan.
