The Cape wagtail Motacilla capensis ssp. capensis
| Latin name | Observation date | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Motacilla capensis ssp. capensis | 6.12.2021 | St Lucia, South Africa |
I have photographed many similar black and white wagtails in my home country Bohemia. They are often to be found by ponds or streams and sitting on village roofs. Here in South Africa it's a different species, but the genus is the same.
