Phoenicopterus chilensis Chilean Flamingo

Well, this is a bit of a rarity. We went to "Laguna Salada" near Philadelphia, Paraguay, hoping to see flamingos.
It was a good idea, but they're there at a different time of year.
However, 1 (one) was there and I took a picture of it. It was probably injured or sick and couldn't fly away.
There were plenty of other birds though and it was well worth the visit.

This bird looks so beautiful.
It's sad to know that the bird can't fly, I worried if it's caught by a predator.
They are so beautiful birds. I like all these big and tall birds. Myself, I have a stork with broken wing leaving with us.
