Golden Horn Bridge Views and Beltur Cafe/Haliç Köprü Manzaraları ve Beltur Kafe 🌊☀️

Greetings, I hope you are well and everything is fine. I have mentioned the advantages and disadvantages of living in Istanbul many times. Because the city is crowded, it can sometimes be very difficult or even impossible to find an appointment in hospitals. I have been looking for an appointment for dental treatment for about a month. Finally, I was able to find an appointment for Thursday. I did not want to go to private hospitals because there was no pain or ache. It is really expensive.
Although this adventure tires me a little, I am happy to be treated. After a short chat, I would like to move on to the main subject of my post.

Selamlar, umarım iyisinizdir ve her şey yolundadır. İstanbul’da yaşamanın avantajlarını ve dezavantajlarını birçok kez dile getirdim. Şehir kalabalık olduğu için hastanelerde randevu bulmak bazen çok zor hatta imkansız olabiliyor. Yaklaşık bir aydır diş tedavisi için randevu arıyordum. En sonumda perşembe gününe randevu bulabilmiştim. Herhangi bir ağrı sızı olmadığı için özel hastanelere gitmek istemedim. Gerçekten çok pahalı.
Bu serüven beni biraz yorsa da tedavi olduğum için mutluyum. Kısa bir sohbetten sonra gönderimin asıl konusuna geçmek istiyorum.

I have been working in a place far from my home for the last few weeks. The commute can take up to 2 hours and this process makes me a little tired. I would like to share with you some of the photos I took during the journey and between work.
Every time I get off the Metrobus, I meet this cat. Probably his home is nearby and he is waiting for something to eat from the people getting off the bus stop. Because he carefully scrutinises every person who comes. 😄

Son haftalarda evimden uzak bir yerde çalışıyorum. Ulaşım olarak git-gel 2 saat kadar sürebiliyor ve bu süreç beni biraz yoruyor. İş aralarında ve yolculuk esnasında çektiğim bazı fotoğrafları sizlerle paylaşmak istiyorum.
Metrobüsten her indiğimde bu kedi ile karşılaşıyorum. Muhtemelen evi yakınlarda ve duraktan inen insanlardan yiyecek bir şeyler bekliyor. Çünkü her gelen insanı dikkatli dikkatli inceliyor. 😄

The last time I visited the Golden Horn side with my wife was in November and December. We couldn't visit much because the weather was cold in those months. We had to postpone many trips we had planned. One of them is the Rahmi Koç Museum. I have been curious about it since the day I came to Istanbul, but I never had the opportunity. The other day we had fully intended to visit the museum and it seemed to be closed on the internet that day.

Haliç tarafını en son eşimle birlikte Kasım,Aralık aylarında gezmiştim. O aylarda hava soğuk olduğu için çok fazla gezememiştik. Planladığımız birçok geziyi de ertelemek zorunda kalmıştık. Onlardan birisi de Rahmi Koç müzesi. İstanbul’a geldiğim günden beri çok merak ediyorum ama bir türlü fırsat olmadı. Geçen gün tam niyetlenmiştik o gün de internette kapalı olduğu görünüyordu.

With my friend from work, we went to the Beltur cafe at the bottom of the Golden Horn bridge after work. Maybe it was not as big and magnificent as Kadıköy or Üsküdar beach, but it had an impressive view that appealed to the eye.
The cafe has a big car parking area. When you go by car, you can find a very comfortable empty place. Of course we went on a weekday. Probably crowded on weekends.

İş yerinden arkadaşımla birlikte iş çıkışından sonra Haliç köprüsünün alt kısmında bulunan Beltur kafeye gittik. Belki bir Kadıköy ya da Üsküdar sahili kadar büyük ve görkemli değil ancak göze hitap eden, etkiliyeci bir manzaraya sahipti.
Kafenin büyük bir otopark alanı var. Arabayla gittiğinizde çok rahat boş yer bulabilirsiniz. Tabi biz hafta içi gitmiştik. Hafta sonları muhtemelen kalabalık olabilir.

Since it belongs to the municipality, the prices are quite affordable. If I remember correctly, we paid 140 Turkish lira for two large-sized lemonades. The staff working in the establishment were very friendly. Since it was afternoon, the sun was beating from the opposite side, so we couldn't stay outside too much.

Belediye işletmesine ait olduğu için fiyatları oldukça uygun. İki tane büyük boy limonataya yanlış hatırlamıyorsam 140 Türk lirası ödedik. İşletmede çalışan personeller oldukça sıcakkanlıydı. İkindi vakitleri olduğu için güneş karşıdan vuruyordu dolayısıyla dışarda çok fazla duramadık.

Canoeing and rowing sports are organised just below the café for those interested. I learnt that this place is also affiliated to the municipality. It is probably held on certain days of the week. There was no activity when we were there. I don't know about the price but I don't think it is too expensive. I couldn't investigate in detail because our time was limited.

Kafenin hemen alt tarafında ilgilileri için Kano ve Kürek sporları yapılıyor. Buranın da belediyeye bağlı olduğunu öğrenmiştim. Muhtemelen haftanın belirli günlerinde yapılıyor. Biz oradayken herhangi bir etkinlik yoktu. Fiyatı hakkında bilgim yok ancak çok pahalı olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Vaktimiz kısıtlı olduğu için detaylı araştıramadım.

I took the last photo from the metrobus on my way home. After the journey and the tiredness of the day, it feels good to witness such views. I think the last time I witnessed such a memory was on Çamlıca Hill.
