Wind 1 - Tree 0
Few days in a row Italia is sending some vicious clouds our way. Yesterday it came at night, it did not feel that bad, but it was the worst. The power went down. Finally a good use for Godox tube light. We are still out of power, a tree fell and managed to brake 3 electric pools.
I woke up to a tree split in 3 in my yard. Nature makes sure to not be a boring weekend 😁 Neighbors barn save it from falling onto our garage. So overall no reall damage.
Friend of mine lost his roof on a workshop. As he says, he found the roof two neighbors down. Fortunately no one was hurt.

Wow, that sounds like a rough night! I'm glad to hear that you and your friend are safe, and that the damage wasn't too bad.
It's always good to have a backup plan in case of a power outage, and it sounds like your Godox tube light came in handy. I'm also glad that your neighbor's barn was able to stop the tree from falling onto your garage.
I hope the power comes back on soon, and that you can clean up the damage from the storm. In the meantime, I'm glad that you're able to find some humor in the situation.
workers did a really good job so we got the power back in less than 24 hours. Pretty important for the freezers as it is pretty hot at the moment.
the wind was strong but it didn't feel that bad inside. The one i photographed felt worse, but it looks like the wind was stronger, because there was a lot more damage in the town. mostly fallen trees and some roof tiles.
cats were having a lot of fun in the new environment :)
I was sad to see the photos of the fallen tree, although I suppose that what nature gives can also be taken away. It looks like it was a very nice and big tree. I hope it didn't cause you many problems or damages besides the ones we can see in the pictures.
actually lucky that the neighbors barn is tall, so the tree lean on it, it did not fall. so overall just a 2 days work to clean it up, no real damage. and now it feels weird as there is a lot more light :)
A few days ago, I had a similar tree inside Pak and it was looking very beautiful as it looks. Seeing natural things makes one's heart very happy and the mind gets a lot of peace.
Sorry about being out of power. Now, if I may ask, how many days will it take the government officials in your country to get it done?
the power went down around 9 PM, next morning the started working on it, around 5 PM we got the power back. They changed the pool and wires. The electricity workers do a good job usually, and we live in a really accessible place, everything is flat, no mountains, big forests...

most of the damage was some metal roofs wanted to fly and a good amount of trees wanted to hang out with powerlines. From what i heard no one was hurt in the town, so in the end not bad.
That’s nature, a fiery bitch that wields little mercy. Glad no real damage done
