Identity fractured Act1 | Chapter3 | MASK OFF - wuxx.streetwear

One of my acquaintances started his own cloths brand wuxx.streetwear. I knew he got some prints out, but had no idea he is actually making the shirts.

So i got a call to do some promo photos. We didn't talk much about what he wanted to do and i was pleasantly surprised when i got to the place.

He actually made 6-7 masks, for the theme of the prints - Mask Off. That actually meant more work, but also more fun. More fun is always better.

After the "safety shots" we started to play with some ideas he got. These shots were light with a softbox on the left and i used 2 tube lights for a bit of separation and fill on the right.

One of the ideas was to put the masks on a string, failed, managed to put them on the background. Also the softbox light was not working anymore, it was too flat. So i ended up using the tube lights.

There was also a cool idea with the mirror. But as my friend Martin said few days ago while texting about a music video for Kronika "We should meet on this topic, then I'll explain what I want, and then you tell me why it can't be done." :D

The angles didn't work, the room seen in the mirror, me in the mirror, how to light the mirror and the person looking at the mirror so you can see the shirt and the face (but also not see the rest of the room :) ). But in the end there were few that i liked.
