Happy New Year? :)
It's only been 20 days, did you all forget about it? It does feel like long ago form me. Especially because i get to edit this today and some other photos from that night and should send it to my friends. I have a feeling like i am sending it after few months and not sure does anyone even care about them :)
It is a stack of multiple photos taken with long exposure. It was a mix of 4-8 seconds as i started with 8 but it felt to long and crowded. My personal favourite is the panorama one, feels less crowded and more clean. The wind was pretty strong so the shape of fireworks is not so great.

Knowing how hard is to take a simple night photo, these fireworks photos are even more appreciated! Great job!
i am in the 94% Slovak place here and they are Evangelists so we usually do both but the "second" new year was never a big event. When you start 23.12 till 13.01 you had enough of celebrations. We also have namedays and 2 of the big ones (a lot of people called that) are 27.12 and 03.01 so it is a bit to much :D
And VAT (PDV) timeline is 15 in the month and we all know 2 things you have to do is to die and pay taxes, and you can't pay taxes if someone does not file them 😂 This year was particularly interesting. you did work with people and computers so you can imagine how it looks when we are the frontrunning country in Europe with E-everything (i think nowhere in Europe exists an a database of all bills issued and all firms have to do it, from the local carpenter to Coca Cola :) fun stuff 😂
I know how it looks in January in Serbia... Who survives it (financially), is a champion! 😂 Oh, I forgot about food... The excess of food is also hard to survive in those days... 🤣

The new year has started and few days have passed we all just pray that this year will be very good for all of us and all the wishes that people have made will be fulfilled within this year.
The display is quite nice. The exact conditions are also quite beautiful and friends have taken some really nice pictures at night.
fireworks is interesting to photograph, could be tricky to get the seconds right.

I like fireworks shots (when done well) anytime of the year. Happy New Year though... it feels like it just started a couple of days ago but we're almost into February now.
for me it is a mix, feels like 2024 just started, but while i was editing photos it felt like that night was 2 months ago :)
