Searching for Salamanders

The other night when the rain stopped for a while, I decided to go for a walk and search for these beautiful Salamanders we often see wondering about on rainy nights.
they are a beautiful yellow dotted over black and they move around slowly, undisturbed by our presence.

there were no Salamanders to be found, nor the frogs that happily leap all over the place in their happiness with the rain, but we did come across this friendly toad that was moving about in a small puddle and did not seem to mind the company or posing for a shot.

A large rue bush was all covered in tiny water droplets and glittering in the light of the headlamp.

Bamboo plants were standing out against the darkness in a beautiful contrast that I found irresistible.

and lastly were the Magnolia flowers against the night that also made a beautiful visual statement.
