Nature around our pond [pt. 3]
There's a special kind of magic that settles in when you're out by the water with a fishing rod in hand and nothing but birdsong and rustling leaves to keep you company. Today as every second day, I spent some time at our little fishing pond, and I just had to share the simple beauty that surrounded me. Again, 'cause this is like a 100th blog about this theme, hihi. :D
The pond itself was still, almost like a mirror, reflecting the willows hanging low and the wide, green fields beyond. I didn’t catch much that day (unless you count daydreams and the occasional tug from a curious fish), but honestly, that wasn’t the point. It felt like the world paused just long enough for me to breathe deeper and smile a little wider.
While wandering the edge of the water, I spotted a delicate yellowish flower just beginning to bloom. It was standing tall and defiant, even though the wind tried to sway it. Funny how something so tiny can feel like a symbol of quiet resilience. Nature always knows how to say a lot with very little.
Just look at those sweet pinky little flowers that practically glowed against the green grass. They looked like they were throwing a little celebration just because the sun was out. I couldn’t help but kneel down to get a closer look and appreciate the tiny world they live in.
