Loud Green VS Electric Noise

I won't overwhelm you with too many words in this blog, the photos are here to speak for themselves. Nature, greenery, everything is waking up and thriving; spring is just around the corner.

Today, when I turned on the dishwasher after not using it for a few days, I heard that same high-pitched sound again, the one that just goes on and on. Why does technology have to be so noisy? Often it's something only I seem to notice; others either don't hear it at all or only catch it if they really listen closely, and even then they don't see it as a problem or find it bothersome.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if technology sounded like nature - like the sound of this beautiful green color? It doesn't have to be silent, just… not squeaky. Haha, I think you get what I am trying to say.

I don't know much about frequencies, whether that noise is very low or very high, I just know it's pretty annoying. And in the evening, when everything quiets down, the installations take over. The sounds come from everywhere: water pumps, underfloor heating pipes, aquarium filters... Noises spreading through the whole house.

And yet, on the other hand, this loud, vibrant greenery is so beautiful. It could practically scream and it still wouldn't bother me; it's pleasing both to the eyes and the ears.

When I was little, I used to say my favorite color was green; this exact shade of green, the color of grass and young plants. Later I grew to love yellow, orange and all shades of blue. But green is still green! 😍

On one side, squeaky capacitors; on the other, tiny green "fuzzy" leaves. On one side, sd card; on the other, a meadow.

Maybe that's the balance. That's why people, especially those whose work revolves around "noisy machines", feel the need to escape into nature from time to time, even without their phones, just to listen fully to that loud, yet so soothing, greenery. 😍

And you? Do you have a similar issue like I do? And how do you deal with it? Sometimes it doesn't bother me that much at first, but after half a day I realize I've basically been hypnotized by those sounds, with no idea where the time went.
