Part 2 coconut bonsai collection

Hello friends!! Today I will continue my explanation about coconut bonsai, which is a connection to the previous post.

Maybe we will all be interested in making coconut bonsai when we see photos of coconut bonsai on social media or see directly at the coconut bonsai collector. interesting. I suggest for those of you who don't understand coconut bonsai and how to care for it, it's better not to buy it if you haven't learned about coconut bonsai, because if you are determined to buy it and you don't know how to care for it, no matter how expensive it is, no matter how beautiful the bonsai you buy, it will grow big like a coconut tree in general, because besides we have to know how to take care of it, we also have to know when is the right time to take care of it, not all coconut bonsai can be cared for at the same time, we have to know when the development of the bonsai we have Bonsai must be treated. Nearly 80% of coconut bonsai lovers fail because of this trivial thing. Behind things that are at risk of failure, there is also good news about coconut bonsai that have failed, if you have a coconut bonsai that fails so that it grows big unlike other bonsai in general, don't feel like a failure first, you can restore the size of your bonsai, which grows big to small back, maybe some people think this is ridiculous😁😁😁, this can actually be done because most of the bonsai that I have now, have grown up or failed to become beautiful bonsai because I don't give up and keep learning, I can get good results as I wish now.

below I will show you a failed bonsai and how to handle it properly which is definitely very risky 🤗🤗

This is my bonsai that failed/or grows normally, don't panic, don't be sad, we can restore the beauty and uniqueness of this coconut tree. This size is not suitable to be called a bonsai😂😂 because the size before I cut it was already 1.8 meters🤣🤣🤣 what kind of bonsai is this??

The first thing we have to do if our bonsai fails or grows normally, the first thing we have to do is remove the bonsai from the pot and then plant the bonsai in the ground, wait 1 to 2 so that our bonsai will grow bigger and have more roots, just let it go first. When your bonsai gets bigger and its roots are fertile, that's where this is the most risky stage, namely logging like the one in this photo, before doing this risky logging you have to really pay attention to your bonsai in a fertile state and lots of roots, because if you don't pay attention to those two, when after cutting your bonsai you can be sure it will die. In addition, when you want to do logging, make sure the weather doesn't rain, it's better to do it in the dry season, because if you do the logging in the rainy season, the shoots will die. two meters, we only leave one inch, after the bonsai is like this, protect the bonsai from livestock such as chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, cows, and other livestock, because the shoots that we leave are very fragile and very tasty in the mouths of animals That. If the condition of the bonsai is like the one in this photo, it also cannot be separated from maintenance, where we have to do maintenance once a week, pay attention to its growth again, if normal and fertile growth, maintenance can be done once every 5 days. Bonsai that have been cut down like this take a very long time to return to their original shape, usually from the beginning of the felling until the bonsai shrinks again. Bonsai takes 6 to 10 months, that's a very long time😌😌. Relax, cutting through that you will be able to enjoy your bonsai in a very, very beautiful form, again very, very beautiful, usually bonsai like this are prettier than bonsai that have been cared for since childhood, but back to taste, the disadvantages of bonsai who have experienced failure, this bonsai cannot enter the contest, because its size is not normal.

I will continue to discuss how to care for a finished and almost finished bonsai, the method of treatment is the same, the 4 photos above are one of my bonsai which is almost finished and has not received any treatment this week, you can see some leaves have started enlarged and the sheath membrane is still intact. Bonsai that are not 100% finished like this, I usually plant them in bottles of used paint, because if planted in a nice flower pot, it's useless for a bonsai like this not to look like a professional bonsai, because from the start the transfer from the water medium to the planting medium was like this it takes about 5 months for the new bonsai to look good. The point is I do this planting in bottles of used paint to reduce operational costs. Back to the main discussion earlier, namely treatment. Can we distinguish the 4 images above with the 3 images below:

The 3 pictures above are the same bonsai as the 4 pictures above, is this a bonsai that I have done routine maintenance. What do you do during routine maintenance on bonsai? Surely people will ask like that.
The thing that is done during routine maintenance on a bonsai that is not yet 100% like this is usually I just peel off the new shoot's coating membrane, if the new fibrous coating's membrane has been cleaned then the new shoots that come out will quickly bloom and cannot grow normally, this is a that must be done in every bonsai, because what makes our bonsai grow normally/big is the membrane that covers the new shoots. Bonsai The ones that are 100% finished are easier to maintain, yes, you only need to clean the new membranes, not by cutting the stems like the one in the picture above. What you really need to pay attention to when carrying out maintenance is the new shoots, because the retaining membrane is no longer there, usually the new shoots will break if they are not tied, if there are still leaves that can support them, they don't need to be tied like the one in the picture. , I tied this because this shoot has no support at all.

The knife that is used for the treatment of bonsai must also really pay attention, a knife that is easy to use when treating like this for beginners I recommend using a scalpel that is sold in pharmacies, because if you use the same knife as the knife I use a little more difficult, better for beginners do not use a knife like this. The most important thing about the knife you will use is to make sure the knife is clean and not a kitchen knife, just use a new knife to make it safer.

It's a shame that my bonsai, which is 100% finished and is 2 years old, has to suffer bad luck, where my bonsai was attacked by pests from two parts, the part that was most severely attacked by pests was the roots, the roots of my bonsai were attacked by all those who make nests on the roots or in pots so that the leaves look like they are starting to turn yellow unusually, not only the roots of this bonsai are also attacked by pests, the leaves are directly attacked so that one of the leaf stalks is eaten, leaving only the stem 😂😂😂 forced I have to cut it in vain if I leave the stem because it is no longer useful for its own growth. Below are some sample pictures of bonsai that are attacked by pests:

This is the difference between leaves that grow jellyfish and leaves that are attacked by pests.

It's a shame that in this month two of my bonsai have been attacked by pests, but the other one is not as bad as the one in the picture above. The way I deal with pest attacks like this is very easy, I usually use natural remedies, how to deal with ant pests nesting in the roots, the first thing I do is soak the bonsai in a bucket filled with water for 2 hours, but the water only covers the whole my pot is not with its leaves. After all the ants came out and died the second thing I did was make 4 holes 3 inches deep, in the 4 holes I filled them with chopped garlic and two drops of baby telon oil, because ants don't like the strong smell, I have done this many times and it works, if the two methods don't work to get rid of the ants, the only thing you can do is replace the soil with new soil, don't forget that if you change the planting medium, you still have to fill in a few pieces of garlic, apart from being useful for repelling ants, garlic is also very good for grow new roots. If the pests attack the leaves directly, the way to deal with it is very easy, just spray it with water soaked in garlic and shallots. I guarantee that no pests will dare to disturb your bonsai again.

This is the rest of my bonsai collection, only 6 pots left, 3 years ago I made 300 bonsai stems. Some have failed or died and the rest have been sold

This photo is 3 years ago. Where all of my bonsai are only 2 months old and they are still in water media, surely some people have heard that coconuts are not planted in the ground but in water. This sounds very funny😁😁 even though this is actually done by all bonsai craftsmen around the world. Unfortunately I can't make a post from the start of making a bonsai until it's 100% because now I don't have any bonsai that I'm still developing in water media, this is because now I'm working out of town, so most of my remaining bonsai are not as beautiful as they used to be , maybe if I have a lot of friends who want me to make a post about how to make a bonsai from scratch, I will look for a good seed to show to all my friends.

WARNING

For friends who want to buy coconut bonsai, you have to be careful, because now there are many people who are dishonest in trading, especially on social media or online shops. Don't be tempted by low prices. Remember it is very difficult to find craftsmen who sell their fruitful bonsai on social media and online stores, usually craftsmen who have fruitful bonsai they usually won't sell them, because they prefer to take part in coconut bonsai contests where they can be sure they will win, and they get more prizes than selling them, I find many bonsai sellers on social media and online shops that show pictures of fruit-bearing bonsai being sold at cheap prices, that is to say, almost no bonsai craftsmen want to sell their bonsai if already fruitful. One more thing you should pay attention to if you want to buy bonsai online or in person. Coconut bonsai shells can only survive naturally for 1.5 years. On top of that, the coconut shell will fall off by itself, if the bonsai is 1.5 or two years old and the shell is still there!! 100000% of the shell is attached using glue and that is one of the scams that often occurs. If you want to buy a bonsai I suggest bringing your friends or relatives who understand coconut bonsai

That's all I can share, if you have questions, please ask in the comments 🥰🥰🥰

Thanks for sharing your tips on how to take care of the bonsai. This is expensive if we buy in stores.

Bonsai prices are not too expensive, prices start from $ 20 to $ 50, which is very good for decoration
