FungiFriday|Silly things you do when hunting mushrooms (Macrolepiota procera fungus)

This is my contribution to #fungfriday by @ewkaw

hello friends! Meet me again @biancamaura! This time I will show you some ridiculous photos of me and my friends while mushroom hunting

A few days ago I was hunting for mushrooms in the pine tree area on the beach, I went with a close friend of mine. I found a corner of the area that was filled with Macrolepiota procera mushrooms. This mushroom is a basidiomycete mushroom which is very large and resembles an umbrella. This mushroom has a lot of fiber so it is very difficult to cook when cooked. This mushroom has a distinctive characteristic on the top surface of the umbrella which is scaly like a snake. That's why some areas call this mushroom the snake skin mushroom. At a young age, the umbrella of this mushroom is egg-shaped with attached edges. around the stem as it gets older the edges of the umbrella begin to break off and leave a soft membrane or what is often called a ring on the stem. When it is ripe or old, this leaf umbrella will flatten and you will see a small circle in the middle of the umbrella surface which is brown and has a rougher texture. /dry. The gills of this coconut leaf are very smooth and tight so they look very dense, light brown in color.

I showed two stalks of coconut leaves that I found to my friend who was taking pictures of insects in the bushes, my friend's expression was very funny😁😁 with an innocent face, but he is not an innocent person like his expression in this picture.

This is the reason we keep hunting around here in the first place. I found a young stem of this mushroom which was shaped like a microphone which is usually used by singers🤣🤣 spontaneously I immediately pulled it out and held it while singing in front of my friend who was focused on taking photos of insects, because seeing my behavior my focus immediately disappeared. and we immediately laughed at our own behavior

I was still holding the singer's microphone while waiting for my friend who was focused on taking pictures again, my funny idea came back by changing this mic into ice cream🤣🤣 which I showed to my friend, his focus disappeared again and he laughed looking at the milk ice cream with shell topping/ Hermit crabs, my behavior is making you thirsty because you see ice cream topped with hermit crabs.

I deliberately took these two pictures to clarify the size of the coconut leaf that I found, I can't imagine if I had come here a little sooner and seen this mushroom when it was still young, maybe the size, shape and color would be more interesting than this.

Hello dear friend @biancamaura good morning

Your cover photo is very fun, you are very creative.
I love the two varieties you found, and yes, you are right, the shape of that mushroom is snakeskin-shaped.
I can't believe the size of that mushroom, the hand shows how big it is

It's good that you went looking for mushrooms in the company of your friend, it is always better to be accompanied

Thank you very much for sharing these very beautiful photographs.

I take this opportunity to wish you a happy new year. that this year everything you wish for has come true
