FungiFriday|jamur cawan (Cookeina speciosa)

This is my contribution to #fungfriday by @ewkaw

hello friends! Meet me again @biancamauara in the #fungiFriday community this time I will share some photos of my hunt at the end of the year

At the end of 2023, during the rainy season, I had the opportunity to go hunting in one of my favorite empty gardens. With the unpredictable weather, I was determined to hunt mushrooms alone in this area. Because I have visited this garden often, I have no fear of hunting. In this area, I was afraid that the rain would suddenly fall and wet all my belongings because there is no shelter here, I was very lucky that I didn't experience that.

I managed to find a small group of beautiful things that decorate the surface of the ground during this hunt, namely cup mushrooms or Cookeina speciosa mushrooms. Cookeina speciosa is the most common species found in its genus, this mushroom is pink with a height of 1-1.5cm, I found this mushroom growing on almost rotting palm fronds with high humidity in the area and not exposed to direct sunlight.

It's good that while you were looking for mushrooms it didn't rain, otherwise it would have been a tragic moment dear friend @biancamaura
I think it was worth risking getting wet from the rain, you have found a beautiful and colorful variety of mushrooms
What beautiful photographs, congratulations.
Happy and prosperous new year
