Jageshwar Dham: Mysteries and Legends of India’s Ancient Temples

avatar

There are numerous temples throughout India, and each one holds a hidden secret. Many experts are quite amazed by these facts, wondering where such advanced technology originated in ancient times, enabling them to build such sophisticated structures at that time. Many even suspect that our ancient ancestors must have been assisted by some advanced civilization. These are all different beliefs, but there are also many stories that we've been hearing since childhood. While there are numerous temples throughout India, I haven't been able to visit them all; I may do so in the future. Where I live, there are also numerous temples, and one of them is the mysterious Jageshwar Dham. This temple also has many stories, and I've heard them from various people since childhood, and I want to share them with you all in this post today.

Some stories say that this temple was built in a single night because the architects who built such temples used to build them at night, and there are many temples here that were built at night. People visit in large numbers during the month of Sawan because this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and there is a cremation ground next to it. Wherever Lord Shiva is, there is usually a cremation ground, and this is often seen. This very popular dham is the main reason why the local time is prevalent here. Whatever the reason, it is possible that its builders did not want people to know about all these things. If you search on the internet, you might get some other information.

There are many temples where it is said that in the past, a particular deity used to react to any evil thoughts. However, when people became accustomed to these things, they closed the temple to prevent any sound from reaching it. This is why entry is prohibited. Perhaps not many people are even aware of this. The most mysterious thing is the idol in the garbh graha here, which moves slightly on its own once every 100 years. We may be listening to this, but it moves so much that we may not even notice it with our eyes. If we look at it after 100 years, you might notice something. It is said that when the hands of the idol touch the ground, the entire universe will be destroyed. I have heard these stories from many people since childhood, and through this post, I am sharing all these stories with you all.

You can find Shivaji temples everywhere, and people worship him intensely. During the month of Sawan, there's a huge crowd of devotees, and it's often difficult for locals to visit, as tourists also come in large numbers. I too, did this with a friend. We went there early in the morning and had something to eat. Afterwards, we ate at the langar, and it was delicious. You can see the number of people who came here. The purpose of this post was to let you know about the local story of temples.
