CCC's Street Art Contest #145 Gus Eagleton , Maroochydore, Australia

Today I spotted a huge, beautiful mural out of the car that I really had to take photos off. So I turned at the next traffic light and parked in front of a Guzman&Gomez Burrito shop. What I saw from here was nice but I wasn´t 100% happy with that shot.

That brilliant mural from the artist Gus Eagleton definitely deserved a better photo than this one. Walking on the sidewalk brought me a bit closer to it but still not what I was looking for.

Well, finally the blockhead realised that he was standing next to a huge car park. I could have simply drive on to the roof of the Burrito shot but what should I say...I like it complicated.

So this one looks much better and will be the entry to the weekly CCC's Street Art Contest. Such an amazing piece of art the artist has put on the wall here. Hope to find more like that.

Hey mate, I'm not sure if you're in a position to enter but see below. You in Maroochydore so it should be easy to snap a photo of a beach of some hinterland.

I'm currently running a Scenery contest with 65 Hive in prizes in the Outdoors and More community - follow the link for how to enter if interested.

It's bloody cold down here right now, so thanks for warming my heart with the weather report up your way. Lol. It's a great time of year to be on the Sunshine Coast.

Yep, cold at night which is what I love there at this time of the year. Where I stay, with a mate, we have fires each night on his property, under the stars. It's very agreeable.

Awesome. I lived in Maroochydore for a bit, on the river. We had our own jetty in the back garden and pelican used to come down. Lived with a guy who was a bit of an addict - it was a bit hectic actually and I was glad to get out of there. Long time ago now.

wow thats cool. Well Maroochydore itself isn´t really nice and yes there are some strange people running around. That´s why we moved a bit outside of town to Mudjimba further up. Much quieter here. Even compared to three years ago it has changed a lot but most of our friends live around here.
