Pink Apamates [is it the Venezuelan Sakura?] ESP/ENG
Hey everyone! How are you? Today I want to tell you about a beautiful encounter I had on my way home while riding my motorized bicycle to do some routine shopping. The day seemed like just another one, full of routine and even a little stressful, until I passed by a street I'd never been on before, and then I saw them: several lush and beautiful trees adorning the cityscape with their lovely blossoms. This definitely brightened my day, so I decided to stop, park my motorized bicycle, and go take a look and take some pictures to share.
¡Hola, gente de Internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy quiero contarles el bello encuentro que tuve en mi camino mientras iba a bordo de mi bicimoto rumbo a hacer algunas compras de rutina, el día parecía ser otro más, cargado de rutina y hasta un poco de estrés hasta que pasé por una calle por la que no había pasado nunca y entonces los vi, varios árboles frondosos y hermosos que adornaban el paisaje urbano con sus preciosas flores. Esto sin dudas alegró mucho mi día, así que decidí detenerme, estacionar mi bicimoto e irme a echar un vistazo y sacar algunas fotos para compartir.
The cherry blossom tree is my favorite in the whole world, but obviously I've never been able to see one in person because they're native to Asia. They adorn the streets and brighten the air, heralding spring. But I can't ignore the fact that here in my own country (Venezuela) we also have beautiful trees like the Araguaney and this beauty called the Apamate.
El árbol de sakura es mi favorito en todo el mundo, pero obviamente nunca he podido ver uno en vivo porque son originarios de Asia, ellos engalanan las calles y adornan el ambiente anunciando la primavera. Pero no puedo pasar desapercibido que auí en mi propio país (Venezuela) también tenemos arboles bellísimos como el Araguaney y esta belleza que se llama Apamate.
They come in different colors; in the town of Montalbán I've seen them in a bright orange color, but this is the first time I've seen a pink Apamate. According to my research, its scientific name is Abebuia rosea. My mom tells me that its flowering season is between February and May and doesn't last long, but that doesn't matter; even though it's an ephemeral bloom, it's totally worth it to see how beautiful it is.
Los hay de diferentes colores, en el pueblo de Montalbán los he visto en color naranja fuerte, pero esta es la primera vez que veo un Apamate rosado, según lo que investigué sobre él su nombre científico es abebuia rosea, mi mamá me dice que su época de floración está entre febrero y mayo y no dura mucho, pero es no importa, aunque se una floración efímera, vale totalmente la pena al ver lo hermoso que es.
I love Sakura trees so much that I even find them everywhere by chance, haha, like that time I went to a super cute cafe and found one of these (artificial) trees decorating the table 😍 It looked absolutely beautiful, I love the color pink, so you can understand why this Asian tree drives me crazy.
Me gustan tanto los arboles de Sakura que hasta de manera casual me los encuentro en todos lados, jaja como esa vez que fui a una cafetería super coquette y me encontré con uno de estos árboles (artificiales) adornando la mesa 😍 Se veía sumamente hermoso, amo el color rosa, así que ya ustedes entenderán porque me vuelve loca este árbol asiático.
So this is the closest I can get to a real Sakura tree in my own country, and you know what? I love it, I adore it 😍 It makes me feel proud of my country's ecosystem, where we have everything, unparalleled natural beauty, with different climates and species, with enviable flora and fauna that can lift anyone's spirits, because I'm sure this beauty can bring a smile to the face of anyone lucky enough to see it.
