Hello there, photography lovers!

I posted some shots of a locust in the garden eating one of my mom's plants. It was quite a sight. I have not seen the insect again. It might have been eaten by some of the many birds that are always around. Before those shots, I found the same insect before maturing. I did not know locusts were yellow grasshoppers before becoming brown.

The surprising encounter came about a portion of cleanup in the duties of the workshop. I was washing the rag I used to clean the tables after working. And then, I saw something weird in the plant that was nearby. The sound of something chewing also caught my attention. And there it was, the yellow grasshopper.i did my best to go get the phone and takes many photos as I could without startling the insect. It is hard enough getting a good angle to get the shots. And perhaps it might be the only time I take such photos.

Reading a bit about this insect, I found out that it was a locust before maturing. And the next after, I found it again, but the vibrant color had been long gone.

It is in times like these that I wish I had a camera to get better shots. The sight of the grasshopper of that color was an interesting surprise for that day. I hope you enjoy these photos. And excuse me if the quality is not the best, my phone can only do so much.

I've been seeing these gigantic things in and around Yerevan lately too. Never saw them so big before, but so fascinating to see. I've been wanting to photograph them too but haven't really had the chance to, always end up not having the camera on me.

Hopefully, you'll have the chance to photograph one of those. This was relatively small in comparison to other grasshoppers I have seen before.
