The End of an Era

Hello there, Hivers!

This has been a tough decision that's been long time in the making. Three years ago, I started to take classes to improve as a musician. The classes have been going good, but lately I have felt like I do not want to progress. If you have seen my blog, there has not been a cover in a log time. I decides to stop for the moment. However, in doing so I have killed the main motivation to keep learning new songs.

Since it seems I was only learning to post in Hive, I reckon music is more of a hobby for myself. It is a nice hobby, but it is time-consuming. It takes a log time to get a cover ready. It takes even longer to record and get the video ready for posting. At first, I thought it was about the gear. It's been a long time and I haven't gotten any better gear to get better sound and video.

But it is much more than that. That is the reason why I'm going for my last class for a time. And I took me months to finally decided to stop going. It will save me money and time to do other things. It is nothing personal against my teacher. Nevertheless, I believe he has taught me all he can. And now it is time for me to keep going a long my way and learn by myself.

And this is the normal way of going through life with all the things we learn. Sometimes we need to step into our own path and start making our own. I have been busy building instruments and will have to see if this gives me time to keep learning things as a musicians or if it is time to let the music hobby aside and focus more into my workshop duties.

I will a clear picture once I go through with this decision. Hopefully, everything will be for the best.
