Hello there, Hivers!

Sunrises and the idea of playing with values in the editor are two things that go in hand. I usually just go for some normal things, adding more contrast, tweaking the exposition. The 101 of editing photographs.

Today, I wanted to add some give effects and colors to the whole idea of editing these photos. So I took some of the presets in Lightroom and applied them to the photos.

Vintage instant, Red and Turquoise and Warm Shadows are the ones that gave the best results. The others tend to give photos a very flat setup be it in colors, light or contrast.

Sunrises are already a beautiful way to practice photography since there's a lot of light and color in each capture. Having an idea of how to tweak the values makes the whole photo even better.

I guess that I should try experimenting more often with values to create different effects for these takes. It could be another path into this hobbies that pays me a bit and helps me keep on walking during the mornings.

Who knows? It could be that one day I'd be taking photos of landscapes in other places and with better equipment.
