Monomad Challenge | Silliness, Loveliness and a lot of Bark

This was another visit to Guaiquerí Park in Cumaná. Since we did not have to follow any route, we walk around many spots of the park. There are the secluded ones like the monkey pot trees and then you have the river bank. You cannot actually get to the banks but you can walk right above it. The river is a frontier of the park. There are bridges that used to connect the park with the avenue, but there were closed. Maybe to avoid homeless people from roaming and sleeping in there.
Trees and lightning always make for interesting subjects. Their leaves filter the right amount of light to create this holy light effect. If there's something sacred in the world, light filtered between tree leaves must be really close to it.
Another cool feature of trees are their scars. Once the lower branches get too heavy the fall down. The tree then gets a knot. This knot looks like an eye if you inspect it enough. Once you get the right angle, you might even spot a face in the bark.
And the trip for photo would not be complete without a silly photo and some other cool ones. @octocel is a fine photograph subject and she takes directions really well when I try to take a silly photo.
