Hello there, black-and-white photography lovers!

Two Sundays ago, I decided to take part into this National Census for artists. I think I had taken part in a regional one years ago, but the idea of making this came around a month ago. I had seen photos of it during weeks and finally went. The reason? A friend asked me if I planned on going. Since I was doing nothing that day, I dressed up and went there.

They threw this show alongside the whole process. It wasn't bad or good. We had school bands, dancing schools, bands from the regional musicians and else. This kept people entertained during the waiting process. However, it was too much noise. When I got to the clerk, I had to ask her to repeat everything she said to select my answers carefully.

I don't know if this will help artists or what. Maybe it will in the Capital, as things usually go in this country. And also, I heard among the people in line that there were too many people there pretending to be artists.

Anyways, while I as waiting, the same friend who asked me if I was going reminded me to take photos to show some of the things happening during that day. Good thing she did. Spending some time to take some shots and then selecting the ones to present is always a fun activity to do.

¡Bueno día, amantes de las fotografías en blanco y negro!

Hace dos domingos, decidí ir al Censo de Nacional de Artistas. Creo que había participado en censo regional hace muchoa años, pero este estaba anunciado desde hace unos meses atrás. Había visto las fotos de proceso pero no fue hasta ese día que fui. ¿La razón? Una amiga me preguntó si tenía intenciones de pasar por el proceso. Ya que no iba a hacer nada, me vestí y salí a ello.

Se hizo una especie de show mientras se esperaba por el censo. Hubo bandas escolares, escuelas de danza, músicos regionales y de más. Estuvo interesante. Así todos teníamos algo que ver y escuchar mientras esperábamos nuestro turno. Sin embargo, fue demasiado ruido. Al llegar a la mesa, tuve que pedirle a la encargada que me repitiera todo dos veces porque estaba aturdido.

No sé si esto nos ayudará para algo. Es posible que en la capital si hagan alguna cosa por los artistas. Así es todo en este país. Además, escuché varias veces en la fila que había demasiada gente ahí. Muchos pretendían ser parte del gremio artístico.

De cualquier manera, mientras esperaba, mi amiga me recordó tomar fotos de lo que pasaba para compartir. Menos mal lo hizo. Así me mantuve ocupado durante esas horas que estuve esperando. Además, tener fotos para hacer una selección siempre es interesante.
