Hello there, black-and-white photography lovers!

Some of the toughest photos to take during morning walks are those with cats. Cats tend to be very wary of who is approaching them or who watches them. Since they are usually always on the prowl, they do not like being seen or just ran away when discovered.

Some weeks ago, a corner house in the neighborhood started to get some gardening work. The house was inhabited for so long that the garden had run rampant and the trees and other plants covered a lot of it. Now it has been cleared, but this seems to have pissed some cats that used to get into that miniature jungle to be out of sight.

This new scenario opens the possibilities to new kinds of photos. For example, I was not able to look at the roof of the house. This one is next to a tree that I use as a reference for the movement of the sun in the horizon. Now I can take photos of the sun over the roof.

What is interesting about that? Well, there are usually cats on top of the roof, so it is a perfect setting for some good shots. And this post is about presenting that evidence. Maybe this will be a tougher shot to repeat than any of the others I have shown before. But I thank my habit of going out early for the chance of taking it.
