Hello there, black-and-white photography lovers!

It's one of the most expensive instruments I've held in my hands. The bright tone of German Spruce and the deep range on Indian Rosewood. Ebony and bone, cedar, 4 courses of metal strings and cedar complete the instrument.

This is my mandolin which some of the user that follow me since I came back on the Blockchain might know already. I have named her Bri. Don't ask for the name. I like monosyllables. And it fits her.

Or so I think.

I had never considered taking some photos of it. The fact it I going to sell it, but it didn't pull through. Finnickery is a real of music that's always present regardless of frontiers. Around here, cheap is the rule of law. But I couldn't let such a treasure go away for cheap.

The luthier who made it is also dead, so there's only a handful of these mandolins in existence.

And yes, this is just a post to brag about the beautiful mandolin I have in my possession. I don't play it much these days. That might change. Who knows?

¡Buen día, amantes de las fotografías en blanco y negro!

Es uno de los instrumentos más caros que he tenido en mis manos. Una combinación perfecta entre el tono brillante del abeto alemán y los graves del palisandro de la India. Ébano, hueso, cuatro pares de cuerdas y cedro completan esta belleza.

Los que me siguen desde hace tiempo tal vez recuerden este instrumento. Es mi mandolina. Su nombre es Bri. No pregunten por qué. Así le puse. Me gustan los monosílabos. Además, le queda bien.

O eso creo...

No había considerado tomarle unas fotos. El asunto es que iba a venderla, pero el negocio no se dio. La necedad es un rasgo común entre los músicos sin importar las fronteras. En estos lados, todo se desea barato o regalado. No hay más que hacer. Algo así no puede irse por el mejor precio.

El luthier que la hizo también está muerto. Así que no hay muchos instrumentos iguales por ahí.

Y sí, esta es una publicación para presumir este instrumento que tengo en mi posesión. Ya no la toco mucho. Aunque eso podría cambiar. ¿Quién sabe?
