Cumaná is Art
Cumaná is a city of culture. Today, this dance showcase marks the start of El Festival Sucrentino de Danza. It is the most important dance festival of the region and it is held each year on the city. Many schools of dancing take part trying to win some recognition from the organizing committee.
I was invited to participate as part of the poetry showcase at the house of the poet Andrés Eloy Blanco. So I am reporting this as it is beginning. In no time, I'll be joining the people of Cielo de Esmalte to do our poetry sample in the inauguration act.
I still do not believe that writing poetry has taken me to take part on things like this, but it is the best thing that can happen. I love art and love being part of the art in the city. This city has a lot to offer in terms o culture and art. And since I live here that makes me part of both things.
The first dance number was all related to the sea and the music was the kind of sea music we can listen to around here. That's all for now, enjoy the colors and movement of the photos.
