Hello there, hivers!

This sunrise is brought to you by the cat that misses its forest. The house where the black cat sits used to be overgrown by its garden. It is a house that was abandoned long ago. Maybe due to some construction issues. Many other houses have had the same issues with electrical installation, water piping and others. Some people have fixed the issues; others, just left the houses there or sold them.

The black cat used to take the place to hide. The overgrown garden made for its jungle. There it played to be a panther. Now the garden has been cut clean and I think it misses the days of the dark garden.

I tend to go over the house on my path during the walks in the morning. So after going to the beach and witnessing the sunrises, I have a look at the house. The cats that go by also make for interesting subjects. Sometimes I am lucky enough to take photos of the things they are up to. Usually it is sleeping. When I am lucky enough, I can see them doing something else.

This particular sunrise is from the month of September. The sun was still in the horizon line that goes over the beach. It was a particularly nice setting to take photos. Today, the sun is behind the houses. So the shots are quite different from what I used to take during that time. However, the cat keeps going back to the house. It looks kind of sad, but he does not miss the chance to be in the yard of the house. Sometimes it looks at me with its green eyes.

A sunrise and the eyes of a cat make for some nice way to start the day.
