City Greenery & Exotic Wildlife | Unexpected Surprise in the Park

Greetings Fellow Photography Lovers!

Today I’m gonna share with you what a pleasant surprise i came across while walking in the park not long ago.

Yeah i know that the title sounds strange and what kind of pleasant surprise i came across sounds even weirder, but 2 months ago i was on a work trip outside of the capital and went to this city called Razgrad, which I typically visit in like a couple of times a year, but never knew that this city had this kind let’s say attraction in such a random place.

Let’s start with some random shots of greenery which i took while walking casually in the park under the bright sun. Oh and don’t mind the first photo it’s gonna get explained as you keep scrolling in the post it’s just for cover.

As you see nothing special for now just normal walk, until i stumbled upon this strange monument just put there. Didn’t know much about it, but after the walk i asked the locals what kind of monument is that and it turns out it is called “The Pantheon of the Immortality”. This turned out to be a memorial complex made in glory of the antifascists who apparently died there.

Quick Stop here it’s time to show my photography skills and do some photoshoot of the monument more closer, also using long exposure mode in some of the photos. Just before you scroll i have to warn you that in the most close up photos especially the photos in the long exposure mode i had to use a little but of photoshop, cuz apparently as every city has its monuments it also has its hooligans and i used the brush to remove some male attributes sprayed on the monument.

Anyway this was not the pleasant surprise i was talking about. After staring at the this interesting architecture I continued to explore the park, which i have more photos of. I gotta admit I haven’t taken a walk in the park, especially alone for a long time and in my opinion everyone should do this every know and then, it brings some sort of serenity and peace, well maybe i got some sort of zen vibes, cuz the park was completely empty and i mean i felt i was alone with the monument, the trees and the singing birds in the background.

I think that these photos are enough to show the beauty of this park blending with the nice weather and i think it’s time for the pleasant surprise i stumbled upon. It’s not something that happens every day, but i gotta admit i am still considering myself a tourist there, no matter i am in Bulgaria i still haven’t explored the fullness of the city. Anyway i stumbled upon some cages with some birds like i was in a zoo, because these birds are too vivid to be like in the middle of a random park I literally said “wtf” who puts some wild or let’s say exotic birds in the middle if the park. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well it turns out this was an actual let’s say mini zoo or something, cuz the pleasant surprise wasn’t the birds, but the freaking Lion the was chilling in there under the sun. 😅

And that’s not all there were all kinds of exotic animals chilling in these cages I couldn’t believe my eyes, well I wasn’t shocked, but i was very surprised to find that kind of facility in the middle of a park and yeah I didn’t give a single coin to go in there.

You know there’s female deers, which i think is called a Roe, there was Strausses chilling with some i think wild goats, Capricorns and Alpacas, i gotta say that this mini zoo made my day. Enjoy the visuals. 😄

Anyway i hope you enjoyed my walk as much as i did, i guess where there’s pheasants and turkeys there’s lions and alpacas hehe.😄

I’m gonna end this post with some more photos i took while walking and one more thing. There’s not a single filter on these photos which so i highly admire my camera or should i admire my photography skills hehe. Anyway this is for today i hope you enjoyed my story and see you next time! 😄
