I hate the QR codes with a passion... we spend so much effort getting people not to click random links... and now we get them to click random links with their cameras instead.

When they're on official looking posters and restaurant tables it gives them some legitimacy. I really like the idea of them and regularly use them to exchange contact details, the links side of things just thingies me sometimes because unlike a link I can't read it (I am also aware I'm probably in a minority that reads and occasionally navigates by url and reads email headers).
