That beer in “Al Carajo” in the middle of The Andes mountain, Argentina
Hello everybody!! This is my entry for the #BeerSaturday challenge!! I was pretty close to posting here in the community, and suddenly I saw this interesting possibility of participating in this fun challenge.
The thing is that last weekend I traveled to the mountain, and in a moment, my friend found a place super weird. It had a van on one side, and the van had things painted on it, like aliens, you can see them in the pictures, lol.
This place is called *Birrika, and it was a very tempting bar wherein they sold craft beer. The thing is that it was temporarily closed, but we were already praying for a beer. Luckily we turn our eyes to the right, and there was another bar, of course, opened and offering fresh beer, but it didn’t look as cool as Birrika. The name of the second place is Al Carajo and the only craft beer they had, It was not draft beer but bottled. Anyway, we took it and we sat for a while to enjoy the beer and the landscape.
Everything was quiet that day, and people in the small town seemed to be sleeping or something like that.
When we sat over there, the owner said: Oh, you are my firsts customers and we are still opening, but it’s ok if you stay outside. The thing is that almost two hours later, we were still the only one’s there.
It was around 6:30 pm, so we thought that maybe that’s kinda the bar in the town and people from there chose to go later at night, because here in Argentina we use to go out and drink from 8 pm to 3 am, especially during the weekend.

Well, you can take a look at the pictures over there and you’ll see the beer. The craft beer name that I talked to you about is Alpatak, and we asked for an American Amber Ale and one Invernal Stout. The first one is a little bit more bitter, and the second one, with an intermediate bitterness flavor and is black. Both are super tasty.

Were you on vacation in the mountains?
