Soho, corners of London that stole my heart for this MONOMAD Challenge

Hello my friends of Black and White at Hive, this great family of photographers, travelers and more!!! I hope this day is going swimmingly in this #monomad challenge.

When I started walking around the Soho area of London, I could hardly believe it. I felt like I was in a dream, in a Harry Potter movie, in a fairy tale. I don't know how to describe it, but to this day I can confirm that I have not seen any other part of Europe that looks like London, in this case as I tell you, I am taking you to Soho.

Soho, rincones de Londres que me robaron el corazón para este MONOMAD Challenge

Hola mis amigos de Black and White en Hive, esta gran familia fotógrafa, viajera y más!! Espero que este día marche de mil maravillas en este #monomad challenge.

Cuando empecé a caminar por la zona de Soho en Londres, me costaba creerlo. Me sentía en un sueño, en una película de Harry Potter, en un cuento de hadas. No sé cómo describirlo, pero hasta el día de hoy puedo confirmar que no he visto ninguna otra parte de Europa que se parezca a Londres, en este caso como les digo, me los llevo a Soho.

What you are seeing are different parts of this neighborhood, in which I stayed and which I went out to walk around several times. While walking, on that first long trip alone, I came across the Argentine Embassy, which as soon as I saw it, stole some palpitations with the blue and white flag that fluttered tenderly to the beat of the breeze.

Soho's rain-varnished streets made me fall in love again and again, while I learned when it was the right time to open the umbrella and avoid the gentle but persistent English drizzle.

Lo que están viendo son diferentes partes de este barrio, en el cual me hospedé y el cual salí a recorrer varias veces. Mientras caminaba, en aquel primer viaje tan largo sola, me crucé con la Embajada Argentina, que en cuanto la vi, me robó algunas palpitaciones con la bandera celeste y blanca que flameaba tiernamente al compás de la brisa.

Las calles barnizadas de lluvia de Soho me enamoraban una y otra vez, al tiempo que aprendía cuándo era el momento oportuno para abrir el paraguas y evitar la suave pero persistente llovizna inglesa.

Each square was a new adventure where I found animals, such as squirrels or different species of birds; or sculptures like the ones you see of the corsets in monochromatic colors.

The lights that hang along those little English streets are never superfluous, since cloudy days predominate and these nice lights give the city a special touch, where suddenly one feels the night, but in reality it is daytime.

Cada plaza era una nueva aventura en donde encontraba animales, como ardillas o diversas especies de aves; o esculturas como las que ven de los corsés allí en monocromático.

Las luces que cuelgan por esas callecitas inglesas, nunca están de más, pues predominan los días nublados y estos simpáticos focos, le dan a la ciudad un toque especial, en donde de pronto uno siente la noche, pero en realidad es de día.

The neatness and order of England are breathed in every block and on every corner, and even the messy autumn leaves, which ventured to fall, seemed like ornaments placed in detail by nature itself.

Soho also dazzles in black and white, and when I look at the photos, I remember the texture of the surfaces of the trees, the benches and the walls, as they looked freshly painted due to the rain, which sometimes was there, but managed to go unnoticed because of how thin it was.

La pulcritud y el orden de Inglaterra se respiran en cada cuadra y en cada esquina, y hasta las desordenadas hojas otoñales, que se aventuraban a caer, parecían adornos colocados detalladamente por la misma naturaleza.

Soho deslumbra también en blanco y negro, y cuando veo las fotos, recuerdo la textura de las superficies de los árboles, de los bancos y de las paredes, ya que parecían recién pintadas debido a la lluvia, que a veces estaba, pero se las arreglaba para pasar desapercibida de lo fina que era.

Espero que lo disfruten amigos. Y… sí, es sin duda alguna un lugar al que ir!!
