Fall in love with a sunset between Nervi and Boccadasse on the Ligurian coast, Italy | My post for the MONOMAD Challenge

Hello my dear friends from Black and White and all over Hive, I hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post that I confess I've been thinking about for weeks: should I share it in color or in black and white?

Both ways the images are very powerful. I finally opted for monochrome thanks to other hivers whose posts I've been seeing, voting and commenting on, of landscapes and natural environments in black and white that have left me impressed by the depth that their images have transmitted.

So I took a chance and edited the entire sequence, which was originally shot in color. And in the same iPhone photo editor, one by one I endowed them with this soul that apparently manifests itself in monochrome. And it was only after seeing the whole sequence, that I decided I would share it like this.

¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Black and White y de todo Hive! ¡Espero que estén pasando un día maravilloso! Hoy participo en el #monomad challenge con esta publicación que les confieso llevo semanas dandole vueltas: ¿compartirla a color o en blanco y negro?

De las dos maneras las imágenes son muy poderosas. Finalmente opté por el monocromático gracias a otros hivers cuyas publicaciones he estado viendo, votando y comentando, de paisajes y de entornos naturales en blanco y negro que me han dejado impresionada por la profundidad que han transmitido sus imágenes.

Así que me arriesgué y edité toda la secuencia, que originalmente fue tomada a color. Y en el mismo editor de fotos del iPhone, una a una las doté de este alma que aparentemente se manifiesta en el monocromático. Y fue solo tras ver toda la secuencia, que decidí que la compartiría así.

The pictures were captured on the way back to the city of Genoa, but Bocadasse serves as a reference for me because I had not yet reached this small town.

After spending the whole day in Nervi and having gone by train, I chose to walk the 2 hours back to the Victoria House Hostel in Genoa, as I felt like walking.

The sunset surprised me with this wonder, and I did not take my eyes off that horizon until the sun finally went down. Many other people did the same.

Las imágenes fueron capturadas en el camino de vuelta a la ciudad de Génova, pero Bocadasse me sirve como referencia porque aún no llegaba a este pequeño pueblo.

Tras pasar el día completo en Nervi y habiendo ido en tren, opté por caminar las 2 horas de vuelta hacia el Victoria House Hostel de Génova, ya que tenía ganas de pasear.

El atardecer me sorprendió con esta maravilla, y no quité mi vista de aquel horizonte hasta que el sol finalmente se escondió. Muchas otras personas hicieron lo mismo.

This black and white landscape really conveys the soul of the scene, the vastness of the sea, the infinity of the sky, the delicacy of the clouds and the undoubted brightness of the sun.

I have also left a color image, which I will post below, so that you can see the difference and the strength of this scene in monochrome.

The sky had become a beautiful litmus of orange, pink, light blue and the clouds caressed it as if it were a romance. The Ligurian coast loomed on the right, as if it wanted to enter into that game of seduction in the sky, but it simply contemplated. The sea kept a soft and rhythmic movement while everything expressed the perfect dance of nature.

As if this were not enough, a navigation entered the scene, as if it wanted to camouflage itself in all that natural magic, and although that was impossible, it managed to give a special touch to the play, that without even knowing it, the Universe was giving to all of us who were contemplating.

A few steps ahead, a protective net that bordered the path where I was walking, tried to hide the increasingly vivid landscape, but it was impossible, because through a timid opening, the splendor of that star could be observed illuminating the entire coast and every living being observed.

The scene was a delight from beginning to end, and in my walk while all this was happening, a great number of people crossed my mind, and I kindly sent them that energy of an afternoon of almost spring in the beautiful Liguria.

El cielo se había tornado en un tornasol precioso de anaranjado, rosado, celeste y las nubes lo acariciaban como si se tratara de un romance. La costa de Liguria se asomaba por la derecha, como queriendo entrar en aquel juego de seducción en el cielo, pero simplemente contemplaba. El mar mantenía un suave y rítmico movimiento mientras todo expresaba la perfecta danza de la naturaleza.

Como si esto fuera poco, una navegación entró en escena, como queriendo camuflarse en toda aquella magia natural, y aunque eso era imposible, logró darle un toque especial a la obra, que sin siquiera saberlo, el Universo nos regalaba a todos los que estábamos contemplando.

Unos pasos adelante, una red de protección que bordeaba el sendero donde caminaba, intentó ocultar el paisaje cada vez más vivo, pero fue imposible, pues por una apertura tímida, podía observarse el esplendor de aquel astro iluminando toda la costa y a cuanto ser viviente observara.

La escena fue un deleite de principio a fin, y en mi caminar mientras todo esto ocurría, una gran cantidad de personas se cruzaron por mi mente, y les envié amablemente aquella energía de una tarde de casi primavera en la hermosa Liguria.
