Mis queridos amigos de esta hermosa comunidad de Emotions & Feelings, aunque hace muy poquito compartí una publicación por aquí, hoy vuelvo, a dar un cierre a aquella hermosa emoción que les hice llegar en uno de los partidos de este mundial en donde Argentina ganaba, en donde el pueblo empezaba a ilusionarse.

Hoy vengo a traerles la noticia (si es que no se han enterado ya) de que Argentina ha ganado la copa del mundo y se ha consagrado campeón mundial por tercera vez.

La gente llora, ríe, los autos tocan bocina por las calles, desde bebés hasta abuelitos han salido al punto de encuentro a rendir homenaje a este equipo grandioso que nos ha dado el mejor regalo de Navidad que se le puede dar a este país y que es ser campeón del mundo!

El festejo argentino

Cornetas, bombos, cantos, gritos, remeras al viento, gente subida a los árboles, bocinas, banderas de todos los tamaños, saltos, risas, muchos vamoooooos cruzamos por la calle con desconocidos.

Estoy muy agradecida por ser capaz de vivir esto, es la primera vez que veo y vivo este fenómeno y jamás imaginé qué se podía sentir tras ser los campeones del mundo. Puede parecer algo que en verdad no sea “para tanto”, pero es para tanto porque somos argentinos. Porque como para los estadounidenses el béisbol es una pasión, para nosotros los argentinos lo es el fútbol.

Jamás vi a la gente tan unida como hoy, jamás caminé por la calle de mi ciudad saludando a desconocidos, jamás me sentí tan parte de este grupo como me sentí hoy.

Con la bandera celeste y blanca replicando los colores del cielo y reflejando el firmamento en la tierra, debido a las miles de bandera y remeras que colmaban las calles, veredas, árboles y autos.

La gente salió a festejar, salimos todos a encontrarnos donde se encuentra el pueblo cuando necesita expresarse. El Obelisco en Buenos Aires, el Kilómetro Cero en Mendoza.

My party

I did every single step done the previous games, by cabala, something that everyone I know started doing. People hung out with the same people, ate the same things, wore the same things, in order to carry the energy back to the previous moments of triumph.

So I replicated my World Cup habits and sat down with my dog to follow the game.

When that fourth goal was scored in penalties, I changed and called my dad to see if he wanted to go celebrate at Kilometer Zero. He is a soccer lover, one of those who cry when we lose or when we win, so 5 minutes after my call, he was waiting for me at the door of his house. I looked for him and we left.

We joined the blue and white tide that once again dyed the streets, and there we mingled, we united with those whose faces emanated happiness in each of their gestures.

Today I have lived a new experience in my life, it happened in my country, because everything happens for a reason. Because I never imagined that when I returned on May 31, 2022, I would decide to stay and thus have the possibility of experiencing something that unites the Argentine people.

The energy I have received today from all these people, this joy I have never seen before, is a blessing from heaven that will accompany me forever. Because wherever I am, I am Argentinian.

Mi festejo

Yo hice cada uno de los pasos hechos los partidos anteriores, por cábala, algo que todas las personas que conozco empezaron a hacer. La gente se juntaba con la misma gente, comían lo mismo, usaban lo mismo, con tal de llevar la energía a los momentos de triunfo anteriores.

Así que yo también repliqué mis costumbres mundialistas y me senté junto a mi perra a seguir el partido.

En cuando se apuntó ese cuarto gol en penales, me cambié y llamé a mi papá para ver si quería ir a festejar al Kilómetro Cero. La energía que he recibido hoy de toda esta gente, esta alegría nunca antes vista por mí, es una bendición del cielo que me acompañará para siempre. Porque esté en donde esté, soy argentina.
