The time of the walk was 8:30 am, as I had to get from the shelter where the animal shelter is located to the village of Sant Martí Sarroca to buy some things.

Hola amigos de Hive y de Pinmapple! Espero que estén teniendo un hermoso día!! En esta oportunidad les acercaré una caminata de 50 minutos de ida y 50 minutos de vuelta en donde verán preciosos paisajes.

El horario de caminata fue las 8:30 am, ya que debía llegar desde el refugio donde está la protectora de animales al pueblo de Sant Martí Sarroca para comprar algunas cosas.

The walk

The road you have to walk along is beautiful, as you may have seen in another post, it is lined with vineyards.

This road goes in a different direction from the first post I made about this place, as it is practically the route that heads towards the village.

It is quite particular, as I have done this trail several times and according to the time of day it is, is how you see the play of light and shadows.

Whenever you turn, you find a vineyard or a winery. You also see people and tractors plowing the land very early in the morning, which is beautiful.

In addition, the night before had been a full moon, so, being so early, the moon was still full and radiant, as you can see in the photos.

La caminata

El camino por el que uno tiene que andar es bellísimo, como quizás vieron en otra publicación, está repleto de viñedos.

Este camino va en una dirección diferente a la del primer post que hice de este lugar, ya que es la ruta prácticamente, que se dirige hacia el pueblo.

Es bastante particular, ya que he hecho este sendero varias veces y de acuerdo la hora del día que es, es como se ven los juegos de luces y sombras.

Siempre que uno gira, encuentra una viña o una bodega. Además también se ven personas y tractores arando la tierra desde muy temprano, lo cual es bellísimo.

Además, la noche anterior había sido luna llena, por lo que, al ser tan temprano, la luna aún se veía entera y radiante, como pueden observar en las fotos.

Sant Martí Sarroca

This is the place where all the animal shelter volunteers go to do their shopping, as it is the closest place.

Sant Martí Sarroca is a fairly small town, it even has two commercial blocks and then some others destined to residential function. The great thing is that in those two blocks, it has all the necessary functions, as it has a bank, 2 supermarkets, pharmacy, medical centers, cafes and restaurants.

I even found a nice street painted with the colors of the rainbow and several very attractive urban details.

It is a beautiful place, which is at the foot of the mountain and appears as a small urban spot in the middle of a quite natural landscape. Although it is clear that there is anthropic intervention due to the vineyards, it is all green and contrasts a lot with any type of construction.

This, to my way of seeing, makes it a very attractive place to visit, because the village, from anywhere, offers beautiful views all around. It is located in a depression, or in what could be a large valley.

Sant Martí Sarroca

Este es el lugar a donde van todos los voluntarios del refugio de animales a hacer las compras, pues el lugar más cercano.

Sant Martí Sarroca es un pueblo bastante pequeño, incluso tiene dos cuadras comerciales y luego algunas otras destinadas a la función residencial. Lo genial es que en esas dos cuadras, reúne todas las funciones necesarias, ya que cuenta con banco, 2 supermercados, farmacia, centros médicos, cafeterías y restaurantes.

Incluso, caminando, encontré una simpática calle pintada con los colores del arcoíris y varios detalles urbanos muy atractivos.

Es un lugar bonito, que está al pie de la montaña y que aparece como una pequeña mancha urbana en medio de un paisaje bastante natura. Aunque claro que hay intervención antrópica por los viñedos, es todo verde y contrasta mucho con cualquier tipo de construcción.

Esto, a mi manera de ver, lo hace un sitio muy atractivo para visitar, porque el pueblo, desde cualquier lugar, ofrece bellas vistas a su alrededor. Se encuentra en una depresión, o en lo que podría ser un gran valle.

As you can imagine, the outward hike is easy because it is downhill, but to return to the refuge, we had to start climbing. In any case, it is not an abrupt or unsustainable climb, in fact it is quite pleasant and at least for me it goes by very quickly because I am easily distracted by the scenery.

On the other hand I also find it very funny the fact of having to "go to the village" to shop. It's like you get used to it and it becomes part of the dynamics and routine. You even exercise that way and it ends up being beneficial for the mind because of the views and the energy of nature, and for the body.

Como se imaginarán, la caminata de ida es sencilla porque es de bajada, pero para regresar al refugio, había que empezar a subir. De todas maneras no es una subida abrupta ni insostenible, de hecho es bastante amena y al menos a mi se me pasa muy rápido porque me distraigo fácilmente con el paisaje.

Por otro lado también me parece muy divertido el hecho de tener que “ir hasta el pueblo” para comprar. Es como que uno se acostumbra a eso y pasa a ser parte de la dinámica y de la rutina. Incluso, una hace ejercicio de esa manera y termina siendo beneficioso para la mente por las vistas y la energía de la naturaleza, y para el cuerpo.

I recommend visiting this place to anyone who enjoys places away from the city, or who wishes to spend a few days in contact with nature and in a quiet environment.

I believe that these villages give us the possibility to connect with ourselves, without completely disconnecting from the rest of life.

But if you have a car, it is much better, since it is only an 8 minute walk, that is, practically nothing. And with a car in a place like this, you can take the opportunity to visit other towns and attractions that the area has to offer.

Recomiendo visitar este lugar a toda persona que disfrute de lugares alejados de la ciudad, o que tenga deseos de pasar unos días en contacto con la naturaleza y en un entorno tranquilo.

Creo que estos pueblos nos brindan la posibilidad de conectarnos con nosotros mismos, sin desconectarnos por completo del resto de la vida.

Lo que sí, en caso de tener auto, es mucho mejor, ya que se trata sencillamente de 8 minutos andando, es decir, prácticamente nada. Y con auto en un lugar como este, puedes aprovechar para conocer otros pueblos y atractivos que ofrece la zona.

The way back also had its charm. Always when you are traveling you have to remember that depending on the perspective is the landscape that we will have, among other factors.

Although they say that looking back is bad, when I'm walking as in this case, I often turn my head to see how it looks on the other side.

This time I was able to enjoy the scenery on the way back, clearly very different from the one on the way out. Let's see, although the surroundings are the same, the light had already turned elsewhere, the details observed varied and the horizon had changed completely.

El camino de vuelta también tenía su encanto. Siempre cuando uno va viajando tiene que recordar que según la perspectiva es el paisaje que tendremos, entre otros factores.

Aunque dicen que mirar hacia atrás es malo, cuando voy caminando como fue este caso, a menudo giro la cabeza para ver cómo se ve hacia el otro lado.

En esta oportunidad pude disfrutar del paisaje de vuelta, claramente muy diferente al de ida. A ver, aunque los alrededores son los mismos, la luz ya había girado hacia otro sitio, los detalles observados variaron y el horizonte había cambiado por completo.
