Life has taken me through numerous airports, train stations and bus stations. I know that many hivers have been blessed to pass through so many of these places and I know that you may be reading me from an airport today, but I am also aware that many other hivers yearn for it and are in the process of achieving it.

La vida me ha llevado por numerosos aeropuertos, estaciones de trenes y estaciones de buses. Sé que muchos hivers han tenido la bendición de pasar por tantos de estos lugares y sé que tal vez hoy me están leyendo desde un aeropuerto, pero también soy consciente de que muchos otros hivers lo anhelan y están en proceso de conseguirlo.

Today I can say that I thank life for leading me on this path, in which I have ended up in several airports, bus and train stations. Thanks to my family too, for the several times they gave me a hand with some money, and thanks to me, who worked since I was 19 years old in multiple functions, before and after graduating, and thanks for daring to venture into life.

Today I can say that the movement is my home, and although I am in search of that calm and stability, I will not stop until I find "my place", even if it takes me my whole life.

Today I deny the weight of my backpack and my 10 kg suitcase (who says 10 says 15, hehe), but what a pleasure it gives me to sit in an airport or train station with my bottle of water and some snack to wait for my next adventure.

Hoy puedo decir que doy gracias a la vida por conducirme por este camino, en el que he terminado en varios aeropuertos, estaciones de buses y de tren. Gracias a mi familia también, por las varias veces que me hechó una mano con algo de dinero, y gracias a mi, que trabajé desde los 19 años en múltiples funciones, antes y después de recibirme, y gracias por atreverme a aventurarme a la vida.

Hoy puedo decir que el movimiento es mi hogar, y aunque estoy en busca de esa calma y de esa estabilidad, pues no pararé hasta encontrar “mi lugar”, aunque me tome la vida entera.

Hoy reniego del peso de mi mochila y de mi valija de 10 kg (quien dice 10 dice 15, jeje), pero qué placer me da sentarme en un aeropuerto o en una estación de tren con mi botellita de agua y algún snack a esperar por mi próxima aventura.

I wasn't always like that, you should know that since I was 19 years old I spent until I was 30 years old working in the same city, with a lot of fear of moving. I was very structured, and I still am in several aspects. Uncertainty still scares me, but when I take courage and take the leap, wow... what a liberation, a breath of life invades my soul. And that's how it is, this is me, I am looking for my truth, my path, my purpose.

Sometimes finding what I'm here for can take, I don't know, years. So here I am, investing my life in discovering what I came here to do. And so I have learned to live with "just enough", well, my changes of clothes are 3, and usually between seasons, I leave some clothes somewhere and buy 2 or 3 new things. That's enough for the season.

Yo no fui siempre así, que sepan que desde esos 19 años pasé hasta los 30 trabajando en una misma ciudad, con mucho temor a moverme. Yo era muy estructurada, y lo sigo siendo en varios aspectos. Todavía la incertidumbre me da miedo, pero cuando tomo coraje y pego el salto, uf… qué liberación, un soplo de vida me invade el alma. Y es que es así, esta soy yo, estoy buscando mi verdad, mi camino, mi propósito.

A veces encontrar ese para qué estoy aquí puede tardar, yo que sé, años. Pues aquí estoy, invirtiendo mi vida en descubrir lo que he venido a hacer. Y así he aprendido a vivir con “lo justo”, pues bueno, mis mudas de ropa son 3, y generalmente entre estación y estación, dejo algo de ropa en algún lugar y me compro 2 o 3 cosas nuevas. Eso me basta para la estación.

Technology is my best friend and when I say "just enough", I mean clothing, because I carry my cell phone, my tripod, my tablet, my camera for the tablet. For me this is fine, for other travelers this is a luxury, and for others, this is absolutely nothing. Well, it's a matter of perspective.

La tecnología es mi mejor amiga y cuando digo “lo justo”, me refiero a vestimenta, pues llevo mi celular, mi trípode, mi tablet, mi cámara para la tablet. Para mi esto está muy bien, para otros viajeros esto es un lujo, y para otros, esto no es absolutamente nada. Pues ya, una cuestión de perspectiva.

Amigos, aquí unas palabras en una noche de encuentro conmigo, en mi silencio acompañado de mis momentos de musiquita latina y un poco de baile, con intervalos de descanso y reflexión. A delight, a space stopped in time. Order, cleanliness, calm, tranquility. A luxury train with a very large table in front of me. In the midst of German, French and English, a Spanish from Spain danced in the air. I carried my little pile of things with me, with my eyes wide open and an unshakable smile on my face. My features before a new and unknown horizon.

Una delicia, un espacio detenido en el tiempo. Orden, limpieza, calma, tranquilidad. Un tren de lujo con una mesa muy amplia frente a mí. En medio del alemán, el francés y el inglés, un español de España danzaba en el aire. Yo llevaba mi montoncito de cosas conmigo, con los ojos bien abiertos y una sonrisa indibujable en mi rostro. Mis características ante un horizonte nuevo y desconocido.
