Hello everybody! It’s nice to be here again in the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES community. Today I have a great experience to share with you, and is the morning and noon time that we spent with my parents in this mall, in the city wherein I’m living right now, that is Mendoza. Well… I also was born here.

I loved our Sunday, because we use to spend these days in my parents house, and sometimes I get bored with this routine, but as my birthday is very close, they wanted to buy me a gift (I found nothing that like me anyway), so they say ok, let’s go to Palmares.

It’s been a while since I didn’t visit this place, I believe more than two years, because I spent almost a year outside the country, and before it was covid time, so I don’t even remember when I was there for the last time.

So you can imagine my surprise when I saw that the mall had a whole new area full of fancy stores and cafes. As soon as I saw that, I started to take pictures to share the experience with the Hive platform, specially with the Weekend experiences community.

We walked a little bit, and I took pictures to the amazing Luciano’s Ice Cream store and other places that called my attention, and I also realized that this mall has a very nice dome in the center of the building, and below it, there is a beautiful place where to have a coffee or a tea.

Despite the fact Palmarés offers many bars, my parents wanted to have a coffee at Freddo’s, which is an ice cream and also a coffee shop. I don’t like that much that place, but they looked very happy and excited for sitting there, so I just followed them and enjoy my time there.

I forgot to take a picture at what we had, but I asked for a tea with a chocolate muffin, and my parents cortado (this is coffee with milk) with medialunas. I took some pictures of the place to share with you, and with my family of course.

After that, my father bought a pizza and we went back to the city (since this mall is a little bit far), and we ate the pizza in their house.

It was, as I mentioned before, a different Sunday and I felt very happy. They use to fight, but yesterday they were in harmony and in peace (thank God, lol).

This mall is beautiful! Not only does it have the new part which is very elegant, but the palm trees have grown a lot and give a Middle Eastern style to the architecture.

Together with the low buildings, typical of my city, these trees reminded me of Israel.
