Natural Leaves: 🌺 Begonia 🌺
The Begonia is a species of perennial plant, native to Asia. They are herbs that reach a size of 40 cm in height. Its flowers are pistillate and the fruit is capsule-shaped with three unequal wings.
It is found in the forests, on the rocks and in the caves of the valleys; at an altitude of 400 to 1100 meters, in Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan in China and in India and Vietnam.
Begonia is a generic name, coined by Charles Plumier, a French reference in botany, in honor of Michel Bégon, governor of the former French colony of Haiti, and was adopted by Linnaeus.
