Monuments of my City # 5 / Statue of the Liberator Simón Bolívar in Plaza Bolívar

This is the First bronze statue of the "Libertador Simón Bolívar", it was erected in the Plaza Mayor de Angostura in Ciudad Bolívar, Bolívar State, Venezuela, on October 28, 1869. It was made in Italy by the sculptor Pedro Tenerani.

She is accompanied by 5 female figures that represent the countries: Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia and New Granada.
