Weekend at San Luis Beach, refreshing swim and watching the beautiful sunset (Eng - Esp)
With the arrival of the dry season, the heat in the city 🏙️🌆 has increased, as has the intensity of the sun's rays. This provides the perfect excuse and opportunity to visit the beach, enjoy a refreshing swim, and enjoy the beautiful landscapes this area of the state offers. Cumaná is home to several beaches, including Playa San Luis, considered the largest urban beach in the country. Besides its beauty, it stands out for its excellent location on the city's perimeter, on one of the main highways on the Cumaná-Puerto la Cruz highway.
This road is very busy and easily accessible. To get to the beach, you can take the public transport on University Avenue near the overpass, or if you prefer and live nearby, you can walk in a group to this beautiful and warm destination.
Con la llegada de la temporada de sequía se ha incrementado el calor en la ciudad 🏙️🌆 y la intensidad de los rayos, solares lo cual se traduce en la excusa y oportunidad perfecta para visitar la playa, disfrutar un refrescante baño y también los hermosos paisajes que esta zona de la entidad ofrece, en Cumaná se encuentran varias playas entre ellas playa San Luis, considerada la playa urbana más grande del país, que destaca además de su belleza por su excelente ubicación en el perímetro de la ciudad, en una de las principales carreteras en el tramo vial Cumaná - Puerto la cruz.
Esta vía es muy transitada y de fácil acceso, para ir a la playa puedes tomar el transporte, en la avenida universidad cerca del elevado o si prefieres y vives en un área cercana te puedes ir caminando en grupo hasta este hermoso y cálido destino.
On Saturday, along with my son, we headed to the beach at approximately 4 p.m., as he wanted to cool off due to the intense heat and also watch the sunset. We packed our bag with the necessary supplies, took the shuttle to the beach, and in less than 20 minutes we were at our destination, more than ready for a refreshing swim in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea.
This day the beach was very crowded, there were children and adults and many boats taking rides in the sea, when we arrived, my son changed quickly and went directly to the beach, the breeze was fresh and the waves at this time increase a little due to the intensity of the wind, I chose to walk for several minutes along the edge of the beach, then I sat under the palm trees to enjoy the breeze and the landscape, in the evening hours the sky and the clouds look spectacular, while I was enjoying the breeze, a cute dog approached, I gave him some food and he fell asleep next to me, when I got up, I did it very carefully so as not to disturb my canine companion and avoid interrupting his nap.
El día sábado en compañía de mi hijo aproximadamente a las 4 de la tarde nos dirigimos a la playa, pues él quería refrescarse en la playa debido al calor intenso, también ver el atardecer y anochecer, organizado nuestro bolso con los implementos necesarios tomamos el transporte hacia la playa y en menos de veinte 20 minutos estábamos en nuestro destino, más que listos para un refrescante baño en las cálidas aguas de el mar Caribe.
Este día la playa estaba muy concurrida, había niños adultos y muchos botes haciendo paseos en el mar, al llegar, mi hijo se cambió rápidamente y se fue directamente la playa, la brisa estaba fresca y el oleaje a esta hora se incrementa un poco debido a la intensidad del viento, yo opté por caminar durante varios minutos por la orilla de la playa, luego me senté debajo de las palmeras a disfrutar la brisa y el paisaje, en horas vespertinas el cielo y las nubes se ven espectaculares, mientras disfrutaba la brisa, un tierno perro se acercó, le di un poco de comida y se quedó dormido a mi lado, al momento de levantarme, lo hice con mucho ciudado para no molestar a mi compañero perruno y evitar interumpir su siesta.
As the sun set, I moved to various points along the beach, looking for a relatively high spot to take sunset photos. At this time, many people were also moving around different areas, looking for a good place to get the perfect shot as the sun set. I walked several meters and positioned myself on one of the walkways, which is slightly elevated. Next to it, there was a tree trunk. From the walkway, I took several photos, then moved to the tree trunk and from this point, I was able to get better photographs.
As the sun sets, the sky takes on different shades, including orange, blue, and a beautiful combination of purple and white. The landscape at this time is fascinating, the view is unique, and the photographs look spectacular. One of my favorites is the silhouettes of people contrasting with the sun. The photo looks really pretty, I also love the reflection of the sun in the water, it takes on a golden color that I really like. It had been years since I had watched the sunset on the beach, and it was nice to go on this day and watch the setting of the sun and the fall of night. My son really enjoyed watching the sunset. It's the first time he's been to the beach in the afternoon and he was able to see the sunset, as well as the dusk.
After several hours at the beach, this boy did not want to leave, because he told me that the water when the sun set, was warm and much better to continue with his swim, as the beach has lifeguards and coast guards, who are aware of the bathers, I allowed him to stay a little longer so that he could enjoy a night swim at the beach, then we left for our house very happy and relaxed for having enjoyed a refreshing swim at the beach and we were also able to watch the sunset.
Con el ocaso del sol me moví hacia diversos puntos de la playa buscando un lugar relativamente alto para tomar las fotos del atardecer, a esta hora muchas personas también se movieron por diferentes áreas, en busca de un buen lugar para hacer la toma perfecta mientras el sol se ocultaba, caminé varios metros y me ubiqué en una de las caminerías que está un poco elevada, al lado de ella se encuentra un tronco, desde la caminería tomé varias fotos, luego me moví hasta el tronco y desde este punto pude lograr mejores fotografías.
Al ocultarse el sol, el cielo toma diferentes tonalidades resaltando entre ellos el color naranja, azul y una hermosa combinación de morado con blanco, el paisaje a esta hora es fascinante, la vista es única y las fotografías se ven espectaculares, una de mis favoritas es la silueta de las personas en contraste con el sol, la foto se ve realmente muy bonita, el reflejo del sol en el agua también me encanta, esta toma un color dorado que me gusta mucho, tenía años que no observaba el atardecer en laplaya y fue muy lindo ir en este día y observar, el declinar del sol y la entrada de la noche, a mi hijo le gustó mucho ver el atardecer, es la primera vez que él va a la playa en la tarde y pudo ver el atardecer, así como el anochecer.
Después de varias horas en la playa, este chico no quería salir, porque me dijo que el agua al ocultarse el sol, estaba tibia y mucho mejor para continuar con su baño, como la playa cuenta con vigilancia y guarda costas, que están pendientes de los bañistas, le permití quedarse un rato más para que él disfrutara de un baño nocturno en la playa, luego partimos a nuestra casa muy felices y relajados por haber disfrutado un refrescante baño de playa y además pudimos observar el ocaso del sol.

It's nice to go for a swim on this day because it isn't crowded. Love looking at sunsets by the beach though sometimes it makes me feel melancholic. The dog that fell asleep next to you was so cute; perhaps he felt so comfortable in your presence. Nice capture of the sunset.
