Phone Photography Contest N° 83; Varied landscapes of the city (Eng - Esp)
Greetings friends, photography lovers, and community @feelgod, I wish you have an excellent and blessed week, this is my entry for the telephone photography contest moderated by @untilwelearn, it is about some photographs of the Don Bosco square, the mural on Panamericana Avenue and the Cascajal Hill, the Don Bosco square that can be seen in the first and second photo, is an important meeting point in the city and there is also a bus stop, this square stands out for its abundant trees, benches and green tables where older adults gather to play dominoes, chess and share in the afternoon hours; my visit to this square was in the morning and there were few people, at dusk it is common to see a group of people gathered in the area of green benches playing and sharing; It has become a custom in this community to play in the afternoon. If you pass by this plaza after 5:00 PM, you can see a large group supporting and playing outdoors. Near the plaza is an important bakery and from there you have access to the city center. This plaza is also very close to the elevated Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho.
Moving forward from Don Bosco Square and after passing the overpass, you will find Pan-American Avenue, in the area known as Bebedero, they painted a beautiful and colorful mural, I really don't know the meaning, but I must say that its colors are very pretty and vibrant, in it we can see an eye surrounded by a wide palette of colors that make it striking and attractive, when passing by this street, the mural stands out and it is a must to stop and contemplate it, the combination of colors is beautiful.
Saludos amigos amantes de la fotografía y comunidad @feelgod, deseo que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana, esta es mi entrada para el concurso de fotografía telefónica moderada por @untilwelearn, se trata de unas fotografías de la plaza Don Bosco, el mural de la avenida Panamericana y el Cerro de Cascajal, la plaza Don Bosco que se puede observar en la primera y segunda foto, es un importante punto de encuentro de la ciudad y en ella se ubica también una parada, esta plaza destaca por sus abundantes árboles, bancos y mesas de color verde donde se reúnen los adultos mayores para jugar dominó, ajedrez y compartir en horas de la tarde; mi visita esta plaza fue en la mañana y habían pocas personas, al caer la tarde es común ver un grupo de personas reunidas en el área de los bancos verdes jugando y compartiendo; se ha convertido en una costumbre en esta comunidad jugar en horas de la tarde, si pasas por esta plaza a partir de las 5:00 PM, puedes ver a un nutrido grupo apoyando y jugando al aire libre, cerca de la plaza se encuentra una importante panadería y desde allí tienes acceso al centro de la ciudad, también esta plaza se encuentra muy cerca del elevado Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho.
Avanzando desde la plaza Don Bosco y luego de pasar el elevado, se encuentra la avenida Panamericana, en el sector conocido como Bebedero, pintaron un hermoso y colorido mural, realmente desconozco el significado, pero debo decir que sus colores son muy bonitos y vibrantes, en él podemos observar un ojo rodeado de una gran paleta de colores que lo hacen llamativo y atractivo, al pasar por esta calle, el mural resalta y es una cita obligada detenerse a contemplarlo, la combinación de colores es hermosa.
Continuing from the Panamericana Avenue towards the Llanada sector we find the well-known Cascajal hill, which as a result of erosion presents varied shapes and figures, you can see columns and even figures similar to a face, the hill stands out for its variety of colors in the earth, at the top we see a reddish color, then a lighter color and at the bottom light beige, the hill covers several kilometers and on the avenue there are several trees and gardens that contrast with the hill, at the top there are several cactus plants, which are typical of tropical climates and arid zones, in another view of the hill you can see the vegetation where cacti and shrubs predominate, in the last photograph you can see the cacti located at the top of the hill that look like a natural fence and that also adorn this well-known hill of the city, this is a point of reference in the region, cultural events are held taking the desert as a reference, which is well represented by this natural monument.
Continuando desde la avenida Panamericana hacia el sector la Llanada encontramos el conocido cerro de Cascajal, el cual producto de la erosión presenta variadas formas y figuras, se pueden ver columnas e incluso figuras similares a un rostro , el cerro destaca por su variedad de colores en la tierra, en la parte de arriba observamos un color rojizo, luego un color más claro y en la parte de abajo beige claro, el cerro abarca varios kilómetros y en la avenida hay varios árboles y jardines que contrastan con el cerro, en la parte superior se encuentran varias plantas de cactus, que son propias de los climas tropicales y zonas áridas, en otra vista del cerro se aprecia la vegetación donde predominan los cactus y arbustos, en la última fotografía se observan los cactus ubicados en la parte superior del cerro que parecen una cerca natural y que además adornan este conocido cerro de la ciudad, este es un punto de referencia en la región, en él se realizan eventos culturales tomando como referencia el desierto, que bien lo representa este monumento natural.
