INGLÉS

Traveling and getting to know different places in the national territory or outside of it, is a nice experience that allows you to explore spaces that we do not yet know and if we know it, each visit is a new adventure that gives us the possibility of appreciating details that at the time we could not see, on my last trip to the state of Bolívar when passing through the tolls I realized that many times I have traveled through that area and I had not noticed the tolls, in my eagerness to get to my destination as quickly as possible I believed that there was only one toll, when passing this toll I was sure that very soon we would arrive at our destination, in the company of my son we made many plans after crossing the toll; eat, rest a little, shower and go to the destinations that we had previously established, we were anxious because the line of cars took a long time to move forward and to our surprise when passing the Orinoquia toll, which is very close to the bridge of the same name, we had several more kilometers to travel to reach our destination which was the city of Puerto Ordaz, perhaps because of the anxiety and rush we had to arrive I did not notice and completely forgot that there were two tolls.

After passing the first toll, the Guayana toll was waiting for us, which is located exactly at the entrance to the city of Puerto Ordaz, when we passed the toll and saw that we had a long road ahead, we decided to relax a bit while the car moved forward and observe the landscape, I must say that the landscape in this area is beautiful and combines jungle, forest and the presence of the Orinoco River, which in its course covers a large part of the territory of the state of Bolívar, previously I mentioned that there are two bridges and a third bridge is under construction, the Angostura and Orinoquia bridges, constitute two great works of engineering and architecture that adorn the majestic Orinoco, the first corresponds to the suspension bridges of the 1950s, according to information from the driver, during his childhood he passed by the bridge on repeated occasions in the company of his father, because he frequently visited this area for his work, he also commented that he knows the bridge very well and likes the spectacular view of the sunsets, the second bridge is a modern design, which stands out for its colorful lights which create a beautiful nighttime spectacle.

The toll facilities have a beautiful design, which I liked a lot, it is a rectangular building with a square in the center that stands out, there is the main door and at the top the toll identification, the walls are painted light orange and on both sides of the main door there are several waterfalls made of stone that adorn the building, these waterfalls remind me of those in the Orinoquia shopping center, with the difference that those are horizontal and these vertical with a cylindrical shape, the detail of these waterfalls I loved because it gives a great style to the toll office and make reference to the numerous jumps in Canaima Park, the toll is made up of a metal roof where several beams are joined that form small diamonds and these in turn a network of cells that make up the roof, in the corners are the columns that serve as support and are also silver like the roof, around the land you can see some motorcycles and white lines on the floor where cars must travel, at the time we passed by this incredible place, the The sky was clear and cloudy, offering a beautiful welcome landscape to travelers.

This is the first time I have seen the toll offices in detail and they are very different from the traditional designs, which consist of rectangles and squares with small windows where the attendants give the ticket and receive payment from the drivers, this one has a nice and striking design with its beautiful stone waterfalls, also a beautiful environment where you can see a small mountain and large trees, the view is incredible and contrasts with the country design of the office, at the bottom of the waterfalls there is a small blue and white wall and towards the ends the wall is yellow and black, at one end there is a tent with several chairs and in the background you can see several houses, I really liked the design of these offices because of its unique style that stands out in the area.

I really dream of visiting this part of Venezuela, and I hope to do so someday. This is an interesting post for this community, and it's nice to see that we both share a love of architecture, whether it be large buildings or small details. Thank you for sharing dear Belkys 🙏

Hello Jesús, I hope you have the opportunity to visit this beautiful state very soon. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. If you're a lover of adventure and nature, Canaima Park is perfect. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a modern city with incredible shopping malls and natural parks, Puerto Ordaz awaits you. In short, every area of Bolívar State has its own attractions.

Best regards!
