My visit to the monochrome painting exhibition at the School of Visual Arts (Eng - Esp)
Greetings, fellow travelers around the world; I hope you are having an excellent and blessed day. Today, I am sharing my visit to the end-of-year exhibition at the School of Art. Located on Niquitao Street—near the Antonio José de Sucre High School and the Cumaná Metropolitan Cathedral—this school trains young people to become mid-level technicians in visual arts, covering disciplines such as painting and sculpture. Every school year, the institution holds an exhibition to showcase the students' work; the goal is to highlight their creations and the skills they have developed during their training. For the finale, tables and wall displays are set up to present the young artists' work.
In addition to painting, they work with clay, wood, wax, and other materials. Specifically, I am showing you some of the paintings and black-and-white portraits. The exhibition begins with a wall display featuring a portrait of Leonardo da Vinci, followed by several monochrome pieces. Next, the process of rendering the human body starting from a basic pattern is shown. Then come various figures, though the portraits of the famous Italian painter stand out among them; we see another method for rendering the torso or human body, a jester, another portrait of da Vinci, and a teenage girl followed by a jester. This exhibition truly showcases the young artists' skills, with each piece reflecting unique qualities and talent.
Saludos amigos viajeros en todo el mundo, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día, en esta ocasión les comparto mi visita a la exposición final en la Escuela de Arte, esta se ubica en la calle Niquitao, cerca del liceo Antonio José de Sucre y de la catedral metropolitana de Cumaná, en ella se forman los jóvenes como técnico medio en artes visuales; pintura, esculturas, entre otros, cada año escolar esta institución realiza una exposición donde se exhiben los trabajos de los jóvenes, esta actividad tiene como objetivo dar a conocer el trabajo de los chicos y las habilidades que van desarrollando durante su formación, para el cierre se organizan varias mesas y paredes con las creaciones de los jóvenes.
Además de pintura, trabajan con arcilla, madera, cera entre otros materiales, específicamente les muestro parte de los trabajos de pintura y retratos realizados en blanco y negro, la exposición inicia con una exhibición en la pared dónde se observa un retrato de Leonardo da Vinci, seguido varios cuadros con la temática monocromo, luego se muestra el proceso para hacer el cuerpo humano partiendo desde un patrón básico, a continuación diferentes figuras pero entre ellas resaltan los retratos de este conocido pintor italiano, vemos nuevamente otra forma para hacer el torso o cuerpo humano, un bufón otro retrato de da Vinci, una adolescente seguida de un bufón, esta exhibición muestra las habilidades de los jóvenes, cada cuadro tiene su particularidad y talento.

It’s wonderful to see so many incredible pieces by the art school students, so varied in style, yet all monochrome. The drawings are excellent; the jesters, in particular, have such quality in their facial features, the expression lines, the eyes, every detail has been captured perfectly. There are also so many of them that one could easily pick out favourites.
I’m really glad you went to that exhibition; they’re the sort of thing I like best. What’s more, you’re helping to promote the work of all these young artists in your own way. Thank you very much and a big hug!💗

Fue una hermosa exposición los chicos tienen talento y creatividad para pintar, los rostros se ven realistas, cada cuadro es una muestra del trabajo que vienen realizando, los bufones y los cuadros de Da Vinci son mis favoritos.
Me encantó la exposición y los cuadros monocromáticos fueron de clos más visitados, es impresionante como representaron cada detalle del rostro y el cuerpo, otro muy bonito es la chica sentada de espaldas, los jóvenes si que tienen talento.
