My visit to the Cabuy and Cumaripa dams and recreational parks (Eng - Esp)
Greetings traveling friends, I wish you an excellent and blessed week. I'm sharing with you the second part of my visit to Yaracuy State, which is known for its beautiful mountains and landscapes. As I mentioned before, our visit coincided with a rainy day, which allowed us to stay longer than planned and explore other areas. I was very grateful and happy to stay a little longer, as I was able to explore other areas. Making the most of our stay, we made a short visit to the Cabuy Dam and the Cumaripa reservoir and recreational park. Both have spaces for fun and recreation. They also constitute a natural reservoir of fauna and flora, and the water is used to irrigate crops and supply water to the population.
The view of the mountain from the road is truly beautiful. As we headed to Cabuy Park, I took several photos and the landscape is impressive, plus the contrast of the clouds, the sky and the mountain, it looks spectacular. In one of the photos you can see the mist on the mountain, which seems to join with the clouds. This is one of my favorite landscapes and the perfect weather to relax and sleep peacefully.
Saludos amigos viajeros, deseo que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana, les comparto la segunda parte de mi visita al estado Yaracuy, el cual destaca por sus hermosas montañas y paisajes, como mencioné anteriormente nuestra visita coincidió con un día de lluvia, lo cual nos permitió quedarnos más de lo planeado y explorar otras zonas del lugar, yo muy agradecida y feliz de quedarme un tiempo extra, pues pude recorrer otras áreas, aprovechando al máximo nuestra estadía hicimos una pequeña visita a La represa Cabuy y el embalse y parque recracional Cumaripa ambos cuentan con espacios para la diversión y esparcimiento, constituyen además un reservorio natural de fauna, flora y el agua es aprovechada para regar los cultivos y surtir de agua a la población.
La vista de la montaña desde la carretera es realmente hermosa mientras nos dirigíamos al parque Cabuy tomé varias fotos y el paisaje es impresionante, además el contraste de las nubes, el cielo y la montaña, se ve espectacular, en una de las fotos se aprecia la neblina en la montaña, que parece unirse con las nubes, este uno de mis paisajes favoritos y el clima perfecto para relajarse y dormir plácidamente.
Upon arriving at the Cabuy Dam, I took a short walk and saw some very striking birds. One of them was a red and black heron that runs very quickly and in a very curious manner. The dam and recreational areas are kept very clean, and there is a sign with the rules for using the park facilities. I liked this park because of its surroundings and the abundant vegetation. At the bottom of the lagoon, you can see the mountain. It's a beautiful landscape that invites you to relax, disconnect, and enjoy being in contact with nature. Indeed, that's what I did. I only took a few photos and stayed on a high area to observe the landscape.
My friends went to a place very close to the lagoon to see the big fish that live in the reservoir, these fish remind me of the ones I saw several years ago in the park La Llovizna Bolivar state, without exaggeration they are enormous and you have the possibility of feeding them with the special food for them that they sell in the park, children are the ones who have the most fun feeding these big fish, I don't know if you can still do this activity because I have not visited La Llovizna for a while.
Al llegar a La represa Cabuy, hice un pequeño recorrido y pude ver algunas aves muy llamativas, una de ellas fue una garza de color rojo con negro que corre muy rápido y de forma muy curiosa, los espacios de la represa se y áreas recreacionales se mantienen muy limpios y hay un cartel con las normas para usar las instalaciones del parque, este parque me gustó por el entorno y la abundante vegetación que tiene, al fondo de la laguna se aprecia la montaña, es un hermoso paisaje que invita relajarse, desconectartse y disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza, efectivamente eso hice, solo tomé algunas fotos y me quedé en una zona alta para observar el paisaje.
Mis amigas se dirigieron a un lugar muy cercano a la laguna para ver los grandes peces que habitan en el embalse, estos peces me recuerdan a los que vi hace varios años en el parque la Llovizna estado Bolívar, sin exagerar son enormes y tienes la posibilidad de alimentarlos con la comida especial para ellos que venden en el parque, los niños son los que más se divierten alimentando a estos grandes peces, no se si aún se puede hacer esta actividad pues tengo tiempo sin visitar la Llovizna.
After the tour of Cabuy Park, which is very beautiful and I wanted to stay longer, my friend's cousin suggested we head to the town of Chivacoa to see Cumaripa Park (another dam in the state). On the way to this park, I didn't take any photos because my battery was running low and I wanted to take some in the new place I was about to visit. The road is also very beautiful, and on both sides you can see the dense mountains. The trip to Yaracuy, without much planning, turned out to be a lovely adventure in a beautiful natural setting that I thoroughly enjoyed. Just looking at the mountain was enough to know that a charming and somewhat magical place awaited us.
Upon arriving at the dam, my eyes focused on the lagoon. It's truly beautiful and foggy. This was a wonderful experience for me because I love seeing the mist. We toured the park as a group, and it's much larger than the previous one. It also has ample space for water sports. There are recreational areas that allow you to enjoy nature, sport fishing, and activities that must be carried out in accordance with the regulations established by the park administration. I loved the view of the lagoon; it's truly beautiful, and even more so with the mountains in the background. This landscape is truly amazing and worthy of admiration.
Luego del recorrido por el parque Cabuy, que por cierto es muy bonito y quería quedarme por más tiempo, la prima de mi amiga sugirió que fuésemos hacia la población de Chivacoa a conocer el parque Cumaripa (otra represa del estado), en el trayecto hacia este parque no tomé ninguna foto, pues ya me quedaba poca batería y quería tomar algunas en el nuevo lugar que iba a conocer, la carretera es también muy hermosa y a ambos lados se aprecia la densa montaña, definitivamente el viaje a Yaracuy sin mucha planificación, resultó ser una linda aventura en un hermoso entorno natural que disfruté al máximo, solo con mirar la montaña, ya era suficiente para saber que nos esparaba un lugar encantador y en cierta forma mágico.
Al llegar a la represa, mi vista se enfocó en la laguna, es realmente hermosa y había neblina, esto para mí fue una linda experiencia pues me encanta ver la neblina, en grupo recorrimos el parque y es mucho más grande que el anterior, cuenta además con amplios espacios para realizar deportes acuáticos,
tienen espacios recreacionales que permiten disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza, pesca deportiva y actividades que se debe realizar de acuerdo a las normas establecidas por la administración del parque, me encantó la vista de la laguna, es realmente hermosa y mucho más con la montaña al fondo, este paisaje realmente es asombroso y digno de admiración.
