Morning walk in the countryside and getting to know the plains area (Eng - Esp)
Hello friends, it's a pleasure to greet you and hope you have a wonderful day with your loved ones. These past few days have been very busy with various activities, but there's always time to rest, relax, and unwind from the hectic city life. Last weekend, I received an invitation from a dear friend I hadn't seen in a while to go to a rural area of the state to visit another friend who lives there. Although I was busy with work and my son's school activities, we were able to squeeze in several of them and make some time to explore the countryside.
I like visiting the countryside because it is relaxing and a place where I can enjoy contact with nature, observe beautiful landscapes and breathe fresh air, on other occasions I have visited my friend in the countryside and this time we decided to take a tour of the part that borders the beach, to get to this place you take the Cumaná - Carúpano national highway and after the toll you make a detour, there are several sectors, including one called Sotillo, on one side of the road there is a hill, which is several kilometers from my friend's house, on the other side we find the flat area, on this trip we decided to take a walk through this area, since we had never been there, the times we have gone, our walk has been in the hill area, we took a different route and the view is beautiful, my friend in her large land takes the opportunity to grow and raise some animals such as chickens and ducks, among her crops she has lemon, banana 🍌 yucca, corn and more.
We left in the morning to make the most of our time and return the same day, since I had to finish some activities at home. We started our trip before sunrise and it was relaxing because the temperature was relatively low, the sky was cloudy and the road was very pleasant. In fact, we made several stops so my friend could take some photos of the place and also to buy some supplies.
Hola amigos viajeros, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan un excelente día en unión de sus de sus seres queridos, estos días han sido muy ocupados con diferentes actividades, pero siempre hay un espacio para descansar, relajarse y desconectarse de la agitada vida en la ciudad, el fin de semana pasado recibí la invitación de una amiga muy querida, a la cual tenía tiempo sin ver para ir a una zona rural del estado a visitar a otra amiga que vive allí, aunque estaba ajetreada con el trabajo y las actividades escolares de mi hijo pudimos adelantar varias de ellas y sacar un tiempo para ir al campo.
Visitar el campo me gusta, porque es relajante y un lugar donde puedo disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza, observar hermosos paisajes y respirar aire puro, en otras oportunidades he visitado a mi amiga en el campo y en esta ocasión decidimos hacer un recorrido por la parte que limita con la playa, para llegar a este lugar se toma la carretera nacional Cumaná - Carúpano y después del peaje se hace un desvío, por allí se ubican varios sectores entre ellos uno llamado Sotillo, a un lado del camino se encuentra un cerro, el cual queda a varios kilómetros de la casa de mi amiga, al otro lado encontramos el área plana, en este viaje decidimos hacer una caminata por esta zona, ya que, nunca habíamos estado por allí, las veces que hemos ido, nuestro paseo se ha realizado en el área del cerro, hicimos un trayecto diferente y la vista es hermosa, mi amiga en su amplio terreno aprovecha para cultivar y criar algunos animales como gallinas y patos, entre sus cultivos tiene limón, banana 🍌 yuca, maíz y más.
Nuestra salida la hicimos en la hora de la mañana para aprovechar el tiempo al máximo y regresar el mismo día, ya que, debía culminar algunas actividades en casa, antes de la salida del sol emprendimos nuestro viaje y fue relajante porque la temperatura estaba relativamente baja, el cielo nublado y el camino se hizo muy agradable, de hecho hicimos varias paradas para que mi amiga tomara algunas fotos del lugar y también para comprar algunas provisiones.
We wanted to take some gifts to our dear friend, she always invites us to visit her and share a delicious soup cooked on firewood, when we arrived we found her feeding the animals, we ran to greet her, give her the gifts and told her we wanted to take a walk through the countryside, to relax and get to know the flat area of the town, we organized the backpack, we took the water, the hats the phone and we began our walk, in order not to interrupt the daily chores of my friend we asked her to explain to us which route we should take, she did not suggest going with her youngest son, who would be our guide, it seemed like an excellent idea for her to continue with her housework, the walk took us approximately two and a half hours, we walked slowly observing the landscape, enjoying the breeze and taking advantage of the fact that the sun's rays were not strong we continued the route through the flat part.
My friend's son is a very good guide, he was explaining to us which path we should follow to have a better view of the place and not disturb the animals that were resting, from this side of the field you can see an extensive herbaceous vegetation that covers a large part of the land and at the end large bushes with different shades of green that create a beautiful landscape, on those days it had rained and you can see how the water on the ground left some marks when it dried, we were also able to see some of the crops that other inhabitants of the field have, during our walk we met some workers who were at work; cleaning the land, planting seeds and feeding the animals.
Queríamos llevarle algunos regalos a nuestra querida amiga, ella siempre nos invita a visitarla y a compartir una deliciosa sopa cocinada en leña, al llegar la encontramos alimentando a los animales, corrimos a saludarla, entregarle los obsequios y le dijimos que queríamos hacer una caminata por el campo, para relajarnos y conocer el área plana del pueblo, organizamos el morral, llevamos el agua, las gorras el teléfono e iniciamos nuestra caminata, para no interrumpir las labores cotidianas de mi amiga le pedimos que nos explicara qué ruta debíamos tomar, ella no sugirió ir con su hijo más pequeño, quién sería nuestro guía, nos pareció una excelente idea para que ella continuara con sus tareas del hogar, el paseo nos tomó aproximadamente dos horas y media, caminamos pausadamente observando el paisaje, disfrutando la brisa y aprovechando que los rayos del sol no estaban fuertes seguimos el recorrido por la parte plana.
El hijo de mi amiga es muy bueno como guía, nos iba explicando cuál camino debíamos seguir para tener una mejor vista del lugar y no molestar a los animales que estaban descansando, desde este lado del campo se observa una extensa vegetación herbácea que cubre gran parte del terreno y al final grandes arbustos con diferentes tonos de verde que crean un hermoso paisaje, en esos días había caído lluvia y se puede observar como el agua en el terreno dejó algunas marcas al secarse, también pudimos ver algunos de los cultivos que tienen otros habitantes del campo, durante nuestra caminata nos conseguimos con algunos trabajadores que estaban en su faena; limpiando el terreno, plantando semillas y alimentando a los animales.
When we reached the farthest point that my friend's son had told us, we sat for a while under a tree, drank water and ate and some cows passed by us, after the cows continued on their way it was time to return home, because the sun's rays were intense and the temperature was rising, the way back was shorter because we didn't make any stops and we took another road or trail to get there faster, because at that time Angel told us, the animals were already coming out to eat in the field and it is not a good plan to bother them or trip over them, because they follow a routine and have places to eat and rest, although it was a short trip, I liked the view and the immensity of the land covered by a beautiful layer of vegetation.
On the way back, my friend had already finished preparing the food, cleaning and organizing the house, we sat under a tree to talk, share a snack and in the afternoon we went to the river where we prepared a delicious sancocho or soup, which by the way was very good, my friend is an excellent cook and this time was no exception, the soup was thick and with that delicious touch that the firewood provides, already at 4 in the afternoon we resumed the way back home and we thanked my friend for having received us and we promised to come back again again with more time, it was a very fun and relaxed day in the country that culminated with a delicious soup.
Al llegar hasta el punto más lejano que nos indicó el hijo de mi amiga, nos sentamos un rato debajo de un árbol, tomamos agua comimos y algunas vacas pasaron cerca de nosotros, luego que las vacas siguieron su camino ya era hora de volver a casa, pues los rayos del sol estaban intensos y la temperatura aumentaba, el camino de regreso fue más corto porque no hicimos ninguna parada y tomamos otro camino o trocha para llegar más rápido, porque a esa hora nos dijo e Ángel, ya los animales estaban saliendo a comer en el campo y no es un buen plan molestarlo o tropezarse con ellos, porque ellos siguen una rutina y tienen lugares para comer y descansar, aunque fue un recorrido corto, me gustó la vista y la inmensidad del terreno cubierto por una hermosa capa vegetal.
De vuelta, ya mi amiga había terminado de preparar los alimentos, limpiar y organizar la casa, nos sentamos debajo de un árbol a conversar, compartir la merienda y en horas de la tarde fuimos al río donde preparamos un delicioso sancocho o sopa, que por cierto quedó muy bueno, mi amiga es una excelente cocinera y esta vez no fue la excepción, la sopa quedó espesa y con ese delicioso toque que aporta la leña, ya a las 4 de la tarde retomamos el camino de vuelta a casa y agradecimos a mi amiga por habernos recibido y le prometimos volver nuevamente con más tiempo, fue un día de campo muy divertido y relajado que culminó con una deliciosa sopa.

Qué buena historia 😄 se nota que lo disfrutaste un montón. Me dio curiosidad eso del sancocho jaja, ¿qué lleva exactamente? No lo vi en las fotos, pero por cómo lo describes seguro estaba brutal 😋🔥
Saludos @ramon2024, el sancocho es una especie de sopa que se acosmbra a preparar cuando vas al río o campo, se cocina en leña y en una olla grande.
