Greetings friends lovers of architecture and design, I wish you have an excellent and blessed weekend, I am happy to share a beautiful architectural design of Puerto Ordaz (Bolívar state), it is the Plaza Merú hotel, located on Churum Merú street with Ventuari street, next to the Daka appliance store, which has an excellent location in an important economic point of the city and converges with the Orinokia and Traki shopping center, since I saw this building caught my attention for its design and color, also includes in its name part of the name that the aborigines gave to Angel Falls (the highest in Venezuela), the building has a rectangular shape on the lower floors, beige columns, the windows are made of tinted glass and gray walls, the hotel rises on the rectangular base where the lower floors are located, is shaped like a cylinder and is covered with blue and gray tinted glass squares, at the top you can read the name, the letters are silver and the fence is black with white lines on the edges.
The cascading rooms emerge from the back of the cylinder, very close to them is a large circular tower, a closer view of the building shows its beautiful design and the tinted glass squares that cover the wall, at this time of day the rays of the sun and the clouds are reflected in the glass squares, on the front and side of the building there are several palm trees that adorn the place, the clouds in the sky create a beautiful contrast with the building and look like cotton balls that envelop it.
Saludos amigos amantes de la arquitectura y el diseño, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido fin de semana, me siento feliz de compartir un hermoso diseño arqitectónico de Puerto Ordaz (estado Bolívar), se trata del hotel plaza Merú, que se encuentra en la carrera Churum Merú con calle Ventuari, al lado de la tienda de electrodomésticos Daka, el cual tiene excelente ubicación en un importante punto económico de la ciudad y converge con el centro comercial Orinokia y Traki, desde que vi este edificio llamó mi atención por su diseño y color, además incluye en su nombre parte de la denominación que los aborígenes dieron Al salto Ángel (el más alto de Venezuela), el edificio tiene forma rectangular en los pisos inferiores, columnas de color beige, las ventanas son de vidrio polarizado y paredes de color gris, el hotel se eleva sobre la base rectangular donde se encuentran los pisos inferiores, tiene forma de cilindro y está cubierto con cuadros de vidrio polarizado azul y gris, en la parte superior se lee el nombre, las letras son plateadas y la valla es de color negro con líneas blancas en los bordes.
Las habitaciones en forma de cascada emergen desde el posterior del cilindro, muy cerca de ellas se ubica una gran torre de forma circular, en una vista más cercana del edificio se observa su hermoso diseño y los cuadros de vidrios polarizados que cubren la pared, a esta hora del día los rayos del y las nubes se reflejan en los cuadros de vidrio, en parte frontal y lateral del edificio se encuentran varias palmeras que adornan el lugar, las nubes en el cielo crean un hermoso contraste con el edificio y parecen copos de algodón que lo envuelven.

A ambos lados del hotel se ubican varios establecimientos comerciales, como tiendas de víveres, quincallería y más, en las cuales puedes adquirir una gran variedad de productos, la ubicación del hotel en pleno centro de la ciudad, ofrece al turista fácil acceso a los centros comerciales más grandes de Puerto Ordaz, como son Orinokia y Altavista, para llegar al último solo debes caminar varios metros hacia el lado izquierdo y tendrás la oportunidad de conocer este encantador centro comercial, para visitar el centro comercial Orinokia, solo cruzas la carrera Churum merú y ya estarás en este gran centro comercial que destaca por su llamativo y moderno diseño

The name of the hotel as well as its cylindrical design and rooms strategically located in the form of a waterfall, caused me great curiosity and in search of information, I talked to a local resident, who explained that he does not really know what the design is due to, but taking the name as a reference, he believes that it is inspired by the Angel Falls, seeing the rooms in a staggered shape, I also thought that the design had a lot to do with the great Angel Falls of Venezuela (which is also located in the state of Bolivar, in the region called the Gran Sabana), another element that made me think that the name is linked to this beautiful natural park, is that the name of several establishments and streets in the city, is related to the natural and mineral resources of the area, you get squares, shopping centers, among others, with names alluding to the resources that the region of Guayana has.
I loved the design of this hotel and it is undoubtedly a great attraction, nestled in the city center and visible from several points due to its altitude.
Aunque el hotel se encuentra rodeado de varios edificios y centros comerciales, su único y llamativo diseño lo hace resaltar por su color y elegancia, desde que llegué con mi familia a la plaza monumental para dirigirnos al centro comercial Altavista, este hermoso hotel captó mi atención, intenté tomar varias fotos desde la plaza, pero debido a la distancia no quedaban muy bien luego de hacer nuestras diligencias en Altavista, caminé varios metros buscando un lugar apropiado para tomar fotos de este llamativo hotel y el punto ideal fue frente al centro comercial Orinokia, desde allí pude hacer fotos de la parte frontal y algunos laterales de este lindo edificio; es un cilindro muy alto y para tomar la fotografía de la valla de identificación, tuve que moverme en varias direcciones hasta que finalmente logré una foto de esta parte del edificio, de las diversas construcciones que tuve la oportunidad de ver en la ciudad de Puerto Ordaz, debo decir que el hotel Merú Plaza es una de las más hermosas, que destaca por su elegancia y moderno diseño.
El nombre del hotel al igual que su diseño cilíndrico y habitaciones ubicadas estratégicamente en forma de cascada, me causaron gran curiosidad y en búsqueda de información, conversé con un habitante de la ciudad, quien me explicó que él realmente no sabe a qué se debe el diseño, pero tomando como referencia el nombre, cree que está inspirado en el Salto Ángel, al ver las habitaciones en forma escalonada, también pensé que el diseño tenía mucho que ver con el gran salto Ángel de Venezuela (el cual se encuentra también en el estado Bolívar, en la región denominada la Gran Sabana), otro elemento que me hizo pensar que el nombre está vinculado con este hermoso parque natural, es que el nombre de varios establecimientos y las calles en la ciudad, está relacionado con los recursos naturales y minerales de la zona, se consiguen plazas, centros comerciales, entre otros, con nombres alusivos a los recursos que posee la región de Guayana.
El diseño de este hotel me encantó y sin duda es un gran atractivo, enclavado en el centro de la ciudad y el cual debido a su altitud, es visible desde varios puntos.
