Getting to know the new sculpture on Gualberto Ibarreto Boulevard (Eng - Esp)
Continuing my tour along Gualberto Ibarreto Boulevard, this time we'll see the next sculptures located on this beautiful boulevard, which, as I mentioned before, pays homage to a prominent musician from eastern Venezuela. After the cuatro sculpture, there's another walkway leading to the boulevard's newest sculpture. Previously, in this area, there was a wall with the boulevard's name. As part of the renovation, they added a sculpture of a singer sitting in a hammock (very common in eastern Venezuela and several other states for sleeping). These hammocks can be made of cotton thread, woven, or even nylon, and come in different styles. This one features the colors of the Venezuelan flag. The walkway leading to the sculpture has blue sides and a green stripe down the center. A characteristic feature of this park is that in front of each sculpture are benches shaped like asterisks and painted green. Unlike the other sculptures, the trash cans here are set back. This is because the sculpture is located on a ramp with railings on either side. Upon closer inspection of the railings, one can see a map of Sucre state and several musical notes. The railing is black, and unlike the round bases of the other sculptures, this one is oval and has three levels. The name of the boulevard is displayed on these levels. On the other side of the walkway, we again see the coat of arms of Sucre state and musical notes decorating the railings of the ramp, which resembles a slide. The sculpture is located in the center of the ramp.
In the following photograph, the coat of arms of the state of Sucre is shown in detail: the palm tree, the horn full of fruit, the fish in the sea symbolizing the maritime wealth of the region, and the figure of the hero Antonio José de Sucre at the top. The next photograph shows the map of the state of Sucre in gold. Then we have a side view of the road and the park, in which part of the central sculpture, the characteristic hat of this musician, and the kiosk can be seen.
I took several photos of the sculpture from different angles so you can appreciate the details of this beautiful, very realistic work of art. The hammock was what caught my attention the most. The singer appears seated with his cuatro, wearing his hat and the characteristic alpargata attire. He has white pants and a striped flannel shirt. Then, in the next photograph, you can see the hammock in its entirety, the name of the boulevard in gold letters. This encompasses the first and second ovals. You can see the railings or gates of the ramp, with the musical notes in gold. Then we have a side view where you can see the entire ramp, part of the mountain, and an open-air gallery located very close to the promenade. In it are several figures from Sucre's cultural scene, among them Mr. Gualberto Ibarreto. Next, a photo that I found very curious, because it gives the impression that the hammock is attached to the cables. In fact, when I saw the sculpture, I thought it was attached to the cable, but then, looking closely, I realized it's an optical illusion.
Moving forward, you can see the hammock in the background, the oval shape of its base, and the map of Sucre state. The hammock has the colors of the Venezuelan flag, with stars on the blue stripe. Next, another side view of the sculpture shows the colors of the walkway, as well as the kiosk in the background and its characteristic hat very close by. This photograph shows part of the walkway and the white stripes that indicate you are approaching the ramp where the new sculpture is located. The following photograph is one of my favorites because it shows the hammock and the singer sculpture in detail, and again gives the impression that the right side of the hammock is attached to the cable. However, as I mentioned before, it is only a visual effect; upon closer inspection of the sculpture, you realize that neither is attached to the cables. In the other photograph, we can see the name of the boulevard and the shape of the base. This base is green, unlike the base of the cuatro, and is decorated with blue arches, gold lettering, and a detail that was missing. Having seen it, it has musical notes as decoration. The following photograph allows you to observe the details of the clothing, the hammock, and the circular base that supports the sculpture. On it is an iron structure that supports the statue. Next, we observe the sculpture, the completely blue floor, and the oval shape of the base. It is clear that none of the hammock's ropes are attached to the cables. The artist definitely did a great job with an immersive visual effect, making you think that the hammock supports are attached to the cables. If you look very quickly, it makes you think that the sculpture is attached to the cables. Only by observing it in detail can you see that this is not the case. For this reason, I took several photographs trying to show as much as possible of this spectacular sculpture, which has become one of the boulevard's great attractions. To be honest, I loved its design and colors.
Continuando mi recorrido por el bulevar Gualberto Ibarreto, en esta ocasión conoceremos las siguiente esculturas que se encuentran en este hermoso Bulevar, el cual como lo mencioné anteriormente, rinde homenaje a un destacado músico oriental, luego de la escultura del cuatro, hay otra caminería que conduce hacia la nueva escultura del bulevar, anteriormente en esta área se encontraba un muro con la identificación del bulevar, como parte de la remodelación añadieron una escultura, el cantante sentado en una hamaca (muy usada en la región Oriental y varios estados de Venezuela para dormir) esta se puede hacer con hilo de algodón, tejida y también se utiliza nylon, las hay en diferentes modelos, esta tiene con los colores de la bandera venezolana, la caminería que conduce hacia la escultura tiene los colores azul en los laterales, una franja verde en el centro y como característica en este parque, al frente de cada escultura se ubican los bancos, los cuales tienen forma de asterisco y están pintados de color verde, a diferencia de las otras esculturas las papeleras aquí están más retiradas y esto obedece a que la escultura está ubicada en una rampa con rejas a los lados, observando de cerca los latertales de las rejas que resguardan la escultura, se encuentra el mapa del estado Sucre y varias notas musicales, la reja es de color negro y a diferencia de la base de las otras esculturas, que son redondas, esta es ovalada y tiene tres pisos, en ellos se lee el nombre del bulevar, luego vemos del otro lado de la caminería, nuevamente el escudo del estado Sucre y las notas musicales decorando las barandas de la rampa, similar a un tobogán, en el centro de la misma se ubica la escultura.
En la siguiente fotografía, se observa en detalle el escudo del estado Sucre, la palmera, el cuerno colmado de frutos, los peces en el mar que simboliza la riqueza marítima de la región y la figura del prócer Antonio José de Sucre en la parte superior, la siguiente fotografía muestra el mapa del estado Sucre en color dorado, luego tenemos una vista lateral de la carretera y el parque, en él se observa parte de la escultura central el sombrero característico de este músico y el kiosco.
Tomé varias fotos de la escultura desde diferentes ángulos, para que puedan apreciar los detalles de esta hermosa obra de arte muy realista, la hamaca fue lo que más me llamó la atención, el cantante aparece sentado con el cuatro, su sombrero y el atuendo característico alpargata, lleva pantalón blanco y franela de rayas, luego en la siguiente fotografía se ve la hamaca en su totalidad, el nombre del bulevar con letras doradas, este abarca el primer y segundo óvalo, se aprecian las barandas o rejas de la rampa, con las notas musicales en color dorado, luego tenemos una vista lateral donde se observa la rampa completamente, parte de la montaña y una galería al aire libre ubicada muy cerca del paseo, en ella se encuentran varios personajes de la cultura Sucrense, entre ellos el señor Gualberto Ibarreto, a continuación una foto que me pareció muy curiosa, pues da la impresión de que la hamaca está unida a los cables, de hecho cuando vi la escultura pensé que estaba unida a la guaya, luego observando detenidamente me di cuenta que es una ilusión óptica.
Avanzando se observa la hamaca en la parte posterior, se aprecia la forma ovalada de la base de la base y el mapa del estado Sucre, la hamaca tiene los colores de la bandera de Venezuela y en la franja azul las estrellas, a continuación otra vista lateral de la escultura y se observan los colores que hay en la caminería, además la imagen del kiosco al fondo y muy cerca su característico sombrero, en esta fotografía se observa parte de la caminería y las franjas blancas que indican que estás llegando a la rampa donde se ubica la nueva escultura, la siguiente fotografía es una de mis favoritas, pues se aprecia en detalle la hamaca, la escultura del cantante y da la impresión nuevamente de que el lado derecho de la hamaca está unido al cable, pero como lo mencioné antes, solo es un efecto visual al detallar bien la escultura, te das cuenta que ninguno de ellos está unido a los cables, en la en la otra fotografía apreciamos el nombre del bulevar y la forma de la base, esta este es de color verde a diferencia de la base del cuatro, está decorada con arcos azules, letras doradas y un detalle que no había visto, tiene notas musicales como decoración, la siguiente fotografía permite observar los detalles de la vestimenta, la hamaca y la base circular que da soporte a la escultura, en ella se encuentra una estructura de hierro que da soporte a la estatua, seguidamente observamos la escultura, el piso totalmente azul y la forma de la base ovalada en ella se observa claramente, que ninguno de los mecates (colgaderos) de la hamaca está unido a los cables, definitivamente el artista hizo un gran trabajo con un efecto visual envolvente, que hace pensar que los soportes de la hamaca están unidos a los cables, si vas muy rápido te hace pensar que la escultura está pegada a los cables, solo observando en detalle es que puedes visualizar que en efecto no es así, por ello tomé varias fotografías tratando de mostrar los mayores posibles de esta espectacular escultura, que se ha convertido en una de las grandes atracciones del bulevar, siendo honesta me encantó su diseño y colores.
Continuing along the path, and after carefully observing the sculpture of the singer in his hammock, I proceeded along the walkway that leads to the hat sculpture. This one also has a circular base; in the center is the top of the cuatro (a small four-stringed guitar), and on top of that is the characteristic hat, which is wide and light beige. Like the other bases, it is decorated with navy blue arches. Again, we find benches near the sculpture and green trash cans, a pattern that is repeated throughout the boulevard. The walkway is very colorful, with a green stripe down the center, followed by a stripe with various colors, similar to a puzzle combining red, yellow, green, and blue. Blue stripes run along the sides. Part of the garden and the purple plants located along the edges of the walkway are also visible, as are small palm trees and the triangular walls that mark the perimeter of the boulevard.
Next, a closer shot of this sculpture reveals details such as the circular lines and the brown tuning pegs. The ground has yellow, red, and blue lines, and several houses in the area are visible.
Then, a front view of the sculpture and its embellishments. The interior of the hat is visible, with various lines. The decoration and ornaments at the base have a different pattern: arches with small triangles in the center and a blue line along the edges. LED lights illuminate this beautiful sculpture on the ground above. In addition to two sculptures of the singer Gualberto, the park contains elements representing this prominent composer. The first sculpture depicts him standing with his cuatro and his hat. Then there is a sculpture of the cuatro itself, and in the center is the new sculpture that has become a sensation. Colorful walkways surround each sculpture, and the one of the hat is no exception.
The boulevard has different areas for family enjoyment, as well as concrete benches, trash receptacles, and walkways where children can play. The best time to visit this beautiful place is in the afternoon and evening, since during the day the sun's rays are strong. From 6 pm onwards, as the sun sets, you can go and observe this beautiful promenade with incredible sculptures surrounded by LED lights, which make them very striking at night.
Continuando con el recorrido y luego de observar detenidamente la escultura del cantante en su respectiva hamaca, avancé por la caminería que conduce hacia la escultura del sombrero, esta también tiene una base circular, en el centro está la parte superior del cuatro y encima de ella el característico sombrero, que es amplio y de color beige claro, al igual que las otras bases está decorada con arcos de color azul marino, nuevamente encontramos los bancos cerca de la escultura y las papeleras de color verde, un patrón que se repite en cada área del bulevar; la caminería es muy colorida, en el centro tiene una franja verde, luego una franja con varios colores, similar a un rompecabezas que combina los colores rojo, amarillo, verde y azul, a los lados tiene franjas azules, se observa también parte del jardín y las plantas de color morado ubicadas en los bordes de la pasarela, hay también pequeñas palmeras y los muros triangulares que marcan el perímetro del bulevar.
Seguidamente una toma más cerca de esta escultura, donde se observan detalles como las líneas circulares y el clavijero en color marrón, el piso tiene líneas en color amarillo rojo y azul, además se observan varias casas del sector.
A continuación una vista frontal de la escultura, sus respectivos adornos, y se aprecia el interior del sombrero con varias líneas la decoración y adornos en la base tienen un patrón diferente son arcos con pequeños triángulos en el centro y una línea azul en los bordes, en el piso de arriba se observan las lámparas led que iluminan esta hermosa escultura, el parque además de poseer dos esculturas del cantante Gualberto, contiene los elementos que representan a este destacado compositor, en la primera escultura lo vemos con de pie con el cuatro y su respectivo sombrero , luego una escultura del cuatro y en el centro la nueva escultura que ha sido la gran sensación del lugar, alrededor de cada escultura hay coloridas caminerías y la del sombrero no es la excepción.
El bulevar cuenta con diferentes áreas para el disfrute de la familia, además bancos de concreto, depósitos para la basura y caminerías donde los niños pueden jugar, la hora para visitar este hermoso lugar es en la tarde y la noche, ya que durante el día la incidencia de los rayos solares es fuerte, a partir de las 6 de la tarde con el ocaso del sol puedes dirigirte y observar este hermoso paseo con increíbles esculturas rodeadas de luces led, que las hacen muy llamativas con la llegada de la noche.
At the end of the boulevard is the kiosk, which was also remodeled, its color was changed and it also has several new details on the roof, previously this kiosk was black, in it they sold ice cream, sweets, among other snacks, for the enjoyment of the visitors; Like the other areas of the boulevard, it also has its own walkway, benches, trash cans, and various plants. The kiosk sits on a circular concrete base painted in light and dark shades of blue. It has a metal staircase on the side. In the next photograph, we see the front of the kiosk with its two windows where sweets are sold. A side view shows the stairs and the structure of this kiosk, which also has two LED lights on the front. Finally, a view from the back shows the circular base, the triangular walls, and a grassy area that leads to the end of the boulevard where it meets the avenue. This boulevard is characterized by its grassy ground, beautiful and colorful walkways, and several sculptures alluding to the life of the singer Ibarreto. It was a lovely walk through this spectacular space. I must say that all the sculptures are beautiful, with exquisite details carefully crafted by the artist, but my favorite is definitely the sculpture of the artist in the hammock. Its colors and design are truly beautiful.
En la parte final del bulevar se ubica el kiosco, el cual también fue remodelado, se le cambió el color y tiene también varios detallles nuevos en el techo, anteriormente este kiosco era de color negro, en él vendían helados, dulces, entre otras meriendas, para el disfrute de los visitantes; al igual que los otros espacios del bulevar cuenta también con su respectiva caminería, los bancos las papeleras y varias plantas alrededor, el kiosko se ubica en un piso de concreto circular pintado de azul en un tono claro y oscuro, tiene una escalera lateral de metal, en la siguiente fotografía tenemos la parte frontal del kiosco con sus dos ventanas por donde expenden los dulces, en una vista lateral observamos las escaleras y la estructura de este kiosco, que cuenta también con dos bombillos LED en la parte frontal y por último una vista posterior del mismo, se observa el piso circular, los muros triangulares y un área cubierta de grama que conduce hacia la parte final del bulevar que converge con la avenida, este bulevar se caracteriza por tener el suelo cubierto con grama, hermosas y coloridas caminerías y varias esculturas alusivas a la vida del cantante Ibarreto, fue un lindo recorrido por este espectacular espacio, debo decir que todas las esculturas son bonitas con hermosos detalles muy cuidados por el artista, pero en definitiva mi favorita es la escultura del artista en la hamaca, sus colores y diseño son realmente hermosos .
