Nature really knows how to surprise us when and where we least expect it. A beautiful gift from nature is there for us. In previous posts, I've mentioned that I like to visit the countryside to enjoy the fresh air, observe the beautiful landscape, and the abundant vegetation that is generally found in rural areas. In addition, the lifestyle in these areas is very different from that of the city, and the days begin very early with the first rays of the sun. People usually tend to the livestock, feed the animals, check the plants, among other things. These are schedules and routines that people have assigned. They usually don't need transportation because they have their animals and crops on land near their homes. During the school vacation period, which is about to end, I had the opportunity to visit a beautiful field and enjoy the bounties of nature. I was also able to see several very beautiful flowers, by the way, that adorn and perfume the place. A very dear friend lives in this beautiful place and always invites us to her "territory," as she calls it, to spend a different and pleasant day enjoying contact with nature.
La naturaleza sí que sabe sorprendernos en el momento y lugar que menos esperamos, un hermoso regalo de la naturaleza está allí para nosotros, en publicaciones anteriores he comentado que me gusta visitar el campo para disfrutar del aire fresco, observar el hermoso paisaje y la abundante vegetación que generalmente hay en las áreas rurales, además el estilo de vida en estas zonas es muy diferente al de la urbe y las jornadas empiezan desde muy temprano con los primeros rayos del sol; se suele atender el ganado, alimentar los animales, revisar las plantas entre otros, son horarios y rutinas que las personas tienen asignadas, regularmente no necesitan transporte, pues tienen los animales y cultivos en un terreno cercano a su casa; en el período de vacaciones escolares que está por terminar tuve la oportunidad de visitar un hermoso campo y disfrutar las bondades de la naturaleza, también pude ver varias flores muy hermosas por cierto, que adornan y perfuman el lugar, en este lindo sitio vive una amiga muy querida, que siempre nos invita a su “territorio” como ella dice, para pasar un día diferente y agradable disfrutando el contacto con la naturaleza.
During my visit I was able to see the garden and it has beautiful flowers, the ones I liked the most are some pink flowers, which I had seen before, but here I was able to observe that in addition to the pink one there is fuchsia and one similar to the red color, you could say that it is a light red color, in the area where I live this flower is known as "putica" its scientific name is Catharanthus roseus, it is a very abundant flower in the area and according to information from my friend it has medicinal properties she uses it to prepare an infusion to wash her eyes, she also adds it to her shampoo to soften and give shine to her hair, to be honest, I did not know about the properties of this plant, I did know about Cayenne Hibiscus rosa sinensis, which is widely used for hair care, in fact in my adolescence I used to prepare a hair gel using the cayenne flower, I used it on several occasions and it is very good.
We took a short tour of the garden, we saw the flowers, we cleaned, we collected several twigs, dry leaves and I couldn't miss the opportunity to take several photos of these beautiful flowers, what struck me the most was their color, which goes like a kind of gradient from red, passing through fuchsia, until reaching pink, which is the most common in the region, of these there are also white but the most abundant, as I mentioned before, are the pink ones.
Durante mi visita pude conocer el jardín y tiene hermosas flores las que más me gustaron son unas flores de color rosa, que había visto anteriormente, pero aquí pude observar que además de la de color rosa hay fucsia y una parecida al color rojo, podría decirse que es un color rojo claro, en la zona donde vivo esta flor se le conoce como “putica” su nombre científico es Catharanthus roseus, es una flor muy abundante en la zona y según información de mi amiga tiene propiedades medicinales ella la usa para preparar una infusión para lavar los ojos, también la agrega a su champú para suavizar y dar brillo al cabello, siendo honesta, no sabía de las propiedades de esta planta, si conocía de la Cayena Hibiscus rosa sinensis, que es muy usada para el cuidado del cabello, de hecho en mi adolescencia solía preparar un gel para el cabello utilizando la flor de cayena, lo usé en varias ocasiones y es muy bueno.
Hicimos un pequeño recorrido por el jardín, vimos las flores, limpiamos, recogimos varias ramitas, hojas secas y no pude perder la oportunidad de tomarle varias fotos a estas hermosa flores, lo que más me impactó fue su color, que va como en una especie de degradado desde el rojo, pasando por el fucsia, hasta llegar al color rosa, el cual es el más común en la región, de estas también hay en color blanco pero las que más abundan, como lo mencioné anteriormente, son las de color rosa.
After visiting the garden we headed to another area of the field, to check that the animals had eaten, we watered the plants, and at lunch time, we enjoyed what can never be missed on a visit to the field, which is a delicious soup cooked over wood. After eating and resting we returned home very happy to have spent a different and full of activity day in the field, where there is no room for boredom, because you always find some activity or task to do.
Luego de visitar el jardín nos dirigimos hacia otra zona del campo, para revisar que los animales hubiesen comido, regamos las plantas, y a la hora del almuerzo, disfrutamos lo que nunca puede faltar en una visita al campo, que es una deliciosa sopa cocinada en leña, tras comer y descansar volvimos a casa muy felices de haber pasado un día diferente y full activo en el campo, donde no hay espacio para el aburrimiento, porque siempre encuentras alguna actividad o tarea por hacer.
