[ESP/ENG] Un Viaje, Un Aniversario y Un Compromiso / A Journey, An Anniversary and An Engagement.

    Hola mis queridos amigos de HIVE, saludos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, que este y los días por venir sean de mucha prosperidad para todos; quiero hablarles de este nuevo viaje a Caripe, lugar hermoso del Estado Monagas, un viaje que estaba planeado, para celebrar nuestro 4to aniversario; pensaba que estaba al tanto de todo lo que pasaría en esos dos días, porque ya habíamos hablado previamente de como seria todo; no esperaba recibir la sorpresa más grande e inesperada de mi vida, algo que aún me tiene nerviosa y sin poder creerlo del todo, quiero compartir esto con ustedes, lo que fue, como lo viví, y como celebramos ese acontecimiento.

Un Comienzo Planeado

    Los planes iniciales eran ir a la playa, pero por contratiempo y algunos gatos que salieron, tuvimos que replantearnos y buscar un nuevo destino que estuviera acorde a nuestro presupuesto actual y Caripe, exactamente la Cabaña “La Floresta”, fue la mejor opción, fuimos el año pasado y nos gusto el lugar, porque es muy natural, hermoso y tranquilo, se hizo la reservación con anticipación, así salimos rumbo a Caripe el día domingo, llegamos todo estaba igual, sentí un nudo en la garganta, pensé que no volvería tan pronto, me encanta ese lugar.

     Datos curiosos

• Nos dieron la misma habitación del viaje pasado.
• El frió que sentí la vez pasada al bajarme del bus, no estaba, hacía calor.
• No me pude bañar en la piscina, porque el día anterior tuve mi periodo menstrual, se me adelanto y no iba a posponer el viaje.

     Nos recostamos a descansar un poco y nos quedamos dormidos 😄, despertamos a eso de las 3pm gracias a una llamada muy oportuna de mi Madre, nos alistamos y salimos a dar un pequeño paseo por la Floresta, había muchas personas, me imagino que es por ser fin de semana, luego salimos al pueblo, estuvimos en la plaza, nos comimos los helados más caros con la menor porción que hemos visto, caminando por todo el lugar, hasta que dimos con un bar restaurant llamado “La Bodeguita Vip”, donde nos tomados una cerveza cada uno, para luego seguir nuestro camino, llegamos nuevamente a La Floresta, cenamos algo rápido, y salimos a dar un último paseo de noche por el lugar, nos sentamos en nuestro banquillo favorito, a hablar de todo con respecto a nuestro futuro.

“Es en ese momento cuando lo planeado acaba y todo dan un gran giro que yo no esperaba, dejándome sin palabras, sorprendida, vulnerable y sin saber si era real lo que estaba pasando”.

Una gran sorpresa que lo cambia todo

    Sentada en nuestro banquillo, mi novio me pide cerrar los ojos, y me empieza a relatar un posible futuro de nosotros, como sería un día normal, en nuestro hogar con nuestros hijos, mientras narraba esa linda historia, yo me iba imaginando todo, hasta que me dijo:

“Es muy interesante pensar en nuestro futuro, en lo que vendrá, en lo que queremos, pero no podemos adelantarnos hasta ese punto sin primero dar un paso muy importante”.

    Se quedó en silencio y me dijo abre los ojos, y lo que veo en ese instante es a ese hombre que llego a mi vida hace ya 4 años, para enseñarme que todo es posible cuando hay amor, arrodillado frente a mi con anillo en mano y me hace la pregunta que toda mujer enamorada quiere escuchar:

¿Te quieres casar conmigo?

    Una pregunta, una propuesta que no esperaba, que me dejo sin palabras, con un nudo en la garganta, solo lo abrace, hasta poder hablar, para decirle el “Si” más importante que he dicho en toda mi vida, el “Si”, con el que se marcaría un antes y un después en nuestra relación; no lo podía creer, ¿esto es real?, era la pregunta que me hacía a cada momento, no podía dejar de temblar, le di la mano par que colocara el anillo y totalmente feliz.

    En mi relación pasada, hace varios años atrás, el matrimonio se convirtió en una palabra prohibida, negada por completo para mí, vista por ese otro hombre como absurda, pero era algo que yo anhelaba "casarme", pero DIOS sabe cómo obra en nosotros y lo que antes se me negó hoy en día lo tengo.

Un hombre al que amo con todo mi corazón, que me corresponde con el mismo amor, y quiere lo mismo que yo, pasar el resto de nuestras vidas juntos con la bendición de DIOS.

Los verdaderos planes de quien es ahora mi prometido

    Me confeso que desde el mes de Enero, estaba decidido a pedirme matrimonio, solo quería encontrar el momento más adecuado y especial, por eso espero hasta nuestro aniversario, que era en Abril, mientras pasaba el tiempo, compro el anillo y espero con algo de ansiedad que llegara el día, una semana antes del viaje, planeo como seria ese momento, como teníamos en mente ir a la playa, se imaginó todo como seria en ese lugar, pero como al final fuimos fue a Caripe, me dijo que fue mucho mejor, porque hace un año, nos hicimos mucho promesas en ese nuestro banquillo, que nos daba la oportunidad de tener la vista más hermosa hacia el horizonte, y decidió que fuera allí que me pediría matrimonio, en ese lugar lleno de promesas y sueños para nosotros, ahora después de todo lo que paso, les puedo decir que los sueños se hacen realidad y que las promesas de amor, se cumplen.

    Me dijo que pudo haber hecho algo diferente, que pensó en otras formas más llamativas de pedirme matrimonio, incluso, involucrar personas importantes para que fueran testigos y captaran en imagen todo lo que pasaría en ese momento, pero que no sería él, que no va con su personalidad, prefirió algo más tranquilo, siendo DIOS y la Naturaleza los únicos testigos presentes, y agradezco que haya sido así, que se mostrara como es, y de esa manera me demostrara sus sentimientos e intenciones.

Por esa razón no hay imágenes del preciso momento que sucedió todo, solo las que quedaron grabadas en mi mente y corazón, me basta con eso, porque jamás olvidare lo que viví en ese instante.

Lo que sucedió después

    Ese mismo día llena de felicidad y emoción, compartí las buenas nuevas con mis familiares y amistades cercanas, quienes son felicitaron y se alegraron por nosotros, deseándonos lo mejor, fue lindo recibir el apoyo y cariño de todos, luego abrace mucho a mi prometido "que fuerte palabra", pero así lo llamare a partir de ahora, y de esa manera termino nuestra noche; al día siguiente despertamos, dimos otro paseo por “la Floresta”, hablando de ese momento mágica para nosotros y de lo que viene, horas después fuimos a desayunar en el mismo lugar del año pasado, la señora nos reconoció, ofrecen excelente atención y buena comida, estuvimos un buen rato allí, nos tomamos un café cortesía de la casa, comimos poco a poco, disfrutando de esas deliciosas empanadas y rica malta, que por cierto, tenia años sin tomarme una malta.

    Queríamos celebrar nuestro compromiso, así que volvimos a la habitación, nos alistamos y salimos con destino a “La Bodeguita Vip”, nos gustó mucho el ambiente de ese lugar, pasamos horas allí, hablamos de la boda, posiblemente como seria, luego de varias cervezas, empezamos a tomarnos fotos y vídeos cortos, fue entonces que un pequeño grupo de personas que estaban al lado de nosotros vieron y notaron que todo lo que hacíamos era enfocado en el anillo, y nos preguntaron si estábamos celebrando algún compromiso y dijimos que sí, nos felicitaron y nos brindaron una ronda de cervezas para brindar con nosotros, luego el dueño nos regalo un frappé con licor, que bebida tan rica, fue mucha emoción la que sentí ese día, todo fue muy mágico, agradable, nos la pasamos increíble.

    Ya era de noche, pagamos la cuenta, nos despedimos de esas personas tan gentiles y amigables, para regresar a la Floresta, llegando fuimos a comer nuevamente al mismo lugar que desayunamos a tempranas horas y de allí a dormir, ya no dábamos para más.

    Despertamos con un poco de resaca, pero felices, teníamos que regresar a Maturín a nuestro hogar, entregamos la habitación, y partimos de ese bello lugar, donde entre siendo novia y salí comprometida.

Lo que sigue para nosotros

    No tenemos una fecha para el matrimonio, apenas comienza este nuevo viaje, pero sabiendo que dirección tomar, a donde queremos llegar y lo bueno, es que tenemos como combustible nuestro amor infinito para recorrer este nuevo camino, con eso nos basta por ahora; creo que esta vez sí planearemos la boda juntos, sin sorpresas, pero claro si él quiere darme una sorpresa, algo adicional a lo planeado, yo feliz de recibir lo venga de su parte.

A planned beginning

    The initial plans were to go to the beach, but due to a setback and some cats that got out, we had to rethink and look for a new destination that was according to our current budget and Caripe, exactly the Cabaña "La Floresta", was the best option, we went last year and we liked the place, because it is very natural, beautiful and quiet, the reservation was made in advance, so we left for Caripe on Sunday, we arrived everything was the same, I felt a lump in my throat, I thought I would not return so soon, I love that place.

     Fun facts

• We were given the same room as last trip.
• The cold I felt last time when I got off the bus was gone, it was hot.
• I could not swim in the pool, because the day before I had my menstrual period, it was early and I was not going to postpone the trip.

     We lay down to rest a little and fell asleep 😄, we woke up at about 3pm thanks to a very timely call from my mother, we got ready and went for a little walk through the Floresta, there were many people, I guess it is because it is the weekend, then we went to town, we were in the square, we ate the most expensive ice cream with the smallest portion that we have seen, walking all over the place, until we found a bar restaurant called "La Bodeguita Vip", where we had a beer each, and then we went on our way, we arrived again to La Floresta, we had a quick dinner, and we went out for a last night walk around the place, we sat on our favorite bench, to talk about everything regarding our future.

“It is at that moment when the plan ends and everything takes a big turn that I did not expect, leaving me speechless, surprised, vulnerable and not knowing if it was real what was happening”.

A big surprise that changes everything

    Sitting on our bench, my boyfriend asked me to close my eyes, and he began to tell me about a possible future of us, how a normal day would be, in our home with our children, while he was telling that nice story, I was imagining everything, until he told me:

“It is very interesting to think about our future, about what will come, about what we want, but we cannot get ahead of ourselves to that point without first taking a very important step”.

    He remained silent and told me to open my eyes, and what I saw at that moment was that man who came into my life 4 years ago, to teach me that everything is possible when there is love, kneeling in front of me with a ring in his hand and asking me the question that every woman in love wants to hear:

¿Will you marry me?

    A question, a proposal that I did not expect, that left me speechless, with a lump in my throat, I just hugged him, until I could speak, to tell him the most important "Yes" I have ever said in my life, the "Yes" that would mark a before and after in our relationship; I could not believe it, is this real, was the question I asked myself every moment, I could not stop shaking, I gave him my hand to place the ring and I was totally happy.

    In my past relationship, several years ago, marriage became a forbidden word, completely denied to me, seen by that other man as absurd, but it was something I longed to "marry", but GOD knows how He works in us and what was denied to me before I have it today.

A man I love with all my heart, who loves me back with the same love, and wants the same thing I do, to spend the rest of our lives together with GOD's blessing.

The real plans of the man who is now my fiancé

    He confessed to me that since January, he was determined to ask me to marry him, he just wanted to find the most appropriate and special moment, so he waited until our anniversary, which was in April, while the time passed, he bought the ring and waited with some anxiety for the day to come, a week before the trip, he planned how that moment would be, as we had in mind to go to the beach, he imagined everything as it would be in that place, but as in the end we went to Caripe, he told me that it was much better, because a year ago, we made many promises in that our bench, which gave us the opportunity to have the most beautiful view to the horizon, and decided that it was there that he would ask me to marry him, in that place full of promises and dreams for us, now after everything that happened, I can tell you that dreams come true and that the promises of love, are fulfilled.

    He told me that he could have done something different, that he thought of other more striking ways to ask me to marry him, even involving important people to be witnesses and capture in image everything that would happen at that moment, but that it would not be him, that does not go with his personality, he preferred something quieter, being GOD and Nature the only witnesses present, and I am grateful that it was like that, that he showed himself as he is, and in that way he showed me his feelings and intentions.

For that reason there are no images of the precise moment that everything happened, only those that were engraved in my mind and heart, that's enough for me, because I will never forget what I lived in that moment.

What happened after

    That same day full of happiness and excitement, I shared the good news with my family and close friends, who congratulated us and were happy for us, wishing us the best, it was nice to receive the support and affection from everyone, then I hugged my fiancé a lot "what a strong word", but that's what I will call him from now on, and that's how our night ended; The next day we woke up, we took another walk through "La Floresta", talking about that magical moment for us and what is coming, hours later we went to have breakfast in the same place as last year, the lady recognized us, they offer excellent service and good food, we were a good time there, we had a coffee courtesy of the house, we ate little by little, enjoying those delicious empanadas and rich malt, which by the way, I had years without having a malt.

    We wanted to celebrate our engagement, so we went back to the room, got ready and went out to "La Bodeguita Vip", we really liked the atmosphere of that place, we spent hours there, we talked about the wedding, possibly how it would be, after several beers, we started to take pictures and short videos, it was then that a small group of people who were next to us saw and noticed that everything we were doing was focused on the ring, and they asked us if we were celebrating an engagement and we said yes, they congratulated us and gave us a round of beers to toast with us, then the owner gave us a frappé with liquor, what a delicious drink, it was a lot of emotion I felt that day, everything was very magical, nice, we had an incredible time.

    It was already dark, we paid the bill, said goodbye to those kind and friendly people, to return to La Floresta, arriving we went to eat again at the same place we had breakfast at early hours and from there to sleep, we could not take any more.

    We woke up with a little hangover, but happy, we had to return to Maturin to our home, we delivered the room, and we left that beautiful place, where I entered as a bride and left engaged.

What's next for us

    We do not have a date for marriage, this new journey is just beginning, but knowing what direction to take, where we want to go and the good thing is that we have as fuel our infinite love to travel this new path, that is enough for now; I think this time we will plan the wedding together, without surprises, but of course if he wants to surprise me, something additional to what we have planned, I will be happy to receive it from him.
