Very close! Passionfruit is indeed the family, but it is a version of it. While passion fruit is very acidic, this variety is sweet and you can eat it right out of the cask. Maracuyá, as passion fruit is called here, has usually a yellow glibber around the seeds. The fruit that the displayed flower shows has a transparent glibber.
