RE: A Season Of Bloom For Tabebuia Rosea

We have a similar tree here in Cotacachi, it blossoms wonder- and fully. It's called Arupo (Chionanthus pubescent), and there is a beautiful one in the main park. Next time I see it blossom, I'll take a picture for you, because I think it is indeed very similar. But that could my mind playing tricks on me.
I'm happy to read that you find that pleasure in going out and taking pictures again. I'm insinuating to my brother that he should bring his camera next time he comes, and stash it with me, as he's not using it at all and Ecuador is full of great motives.

This one tree is actually native to Mexico and the Carribean. I am not sure how it gets here but I am sure it was brought a long time ago hehe. If you find something similar to it, please don't forget to tag me. It's going to be so cool to see it also in another parts of the world.
If you can convince your brother to bring the camera, it's gong to be another experience to him to see Ecuador through a camera lens. For me, seeing the world through the camera feels fascinating.
Yeah, him bringing the camera is more for me - but he can use it while he's here 🤣 The more I see those pictures of you and other people, the more I want to be technically able to take better pictures. My cellphone is outdated that way, especially the zoom doesn't work. I have to upgrade one of these years, maybe the next generation of cellphone does it better - if my brotherly manipulation plan falls through.
