Favorites from the last week of March.

Time ticks by. Slowly. Without any news, just frustrating waiting periods. Tick Tack. Another day passed. Sun up, work work eat work work, sun down. Reading to Lily without knowing if she is even allowed to Lily, then Duolingo (2111 day streak!), then writing the diary, maybe a post for my main blog.

No news from legal. No news from anything. This is the test, the waiting. Waiting for deadlines to pass so I can go and bug the person in charge to get to it. And the deadlines always pass. And the responsible are always the others, or something. Never the judge or the clerk or whoever is due to process.

But then there are those little moments in time that snap me out of it for a little moment. Like reconnecting with martial arts, in this case Tang Do Soo. Hitting the pads feels awesome. There are forms, like in Kung Fu which I did for a long time, and I really love forms. We're focussing on self-defense, as I'm going with Kami, which is also awesome because it's a kind of bonding experience plus she learns a lot about stances and, well, self defense. With that comes self-confidence and self-esteem, or so I hope.

And then the Intag. My favorite place, as always. Ellie kind of arranged it, to go with her, a friend with her daughter, and Kami. Which gives some alone time for me, wandering around, admiring the flowers, listening to the river, feeling my sorrow deeply and letting it be washed away by the waters, at least for a second or two. Tick Tack. And it's back.

I talked with my mom for a long time, around 45min. And almost equally long with my brother. Not my father - we had just talked three days ago, and nothing much happens in three days. I also talked a little with my friend in Serbia, via voice messages, as always, but there wasn't much to tell. He's been sick, and I've been sad, and we both repeat our cycles and no each other well enough that we usually find something in our messages to sway into philosophical, religious or political (or all at one) discussions. But not that day. Just no energy on neither side. Yet, always good to hear his voice.

I admit I did indulge in beer all day, since we arrived. Never too much, always with breaks and decent amount of water, but for a slight buzz. And it's always delicious to sit in the warm Intag valley, having a delightful beer.

The bakery is doing great. I made some coconut buns that were awesome, and the olive bread recipe is ready to be launched, too. Just a final experiment on Wednesday, and that's it - new products incoming! That's always exciting.

I'm also making quite a bit of progress with my work at Nuevo Sol. I hope that I can clean up what needs cleaning within the next month, and then be done with it. I like the company, but it is a lot of work and I don't understand clothing enough to really be submerged into it. But business, that I do understand, and that's what I can fix. After fixing it, the rest should be fine.

I walked around quite a bit and noticed these trails all around. Like rabbits would take exactly that way all the time. But it was not rabbits. They're quite small, only about 5cm wide. Who wants to guess what it was? I was very, very surprised when I found out. I might throw some HSBI around for right answers.
